By the time Okafu arrived at Ren’s house she had ran through the questions she wanted to ask him about her past.
She took a deep breath, swallowing the panic she could feel flaring up in her stomach. She placed her hand there as if to keep it in.
She had to do this if she wanted to get back control of her life. She couldn’t keep running, especially now when everything in her life was beyond confusing. She had to be brave and face it.
Okafu bit the inside of her mouth needing the strength, because she wasn’t sure if she could do it.
