It didn’t take long for Jack, Corey, and Hank to arrive. All three of them looked worried, rightfully so. The information I was going to share with them was more than concerning.
“Erik? What the hell is going on?” Jack questioned. But before Erik could reply, all three of them noticed me. “Cole, you are back,”
“I am,” I said with a nod. According to Erik, everyone knew I had been on a business trip. Jack, Corey, and Hank expressed how good it was to have me back, but other than that, they didn’t question it. Good. Jack, however, once again looked over at Erik as he waited for an explanation.
“I strongly suggest you three sit down. This is big,” Erik suggested. All three of them sat down on the other couch, but they were still waiting for Erik.
