Tori “Thank f**k,” I muttered as I checked the time. It was lunchtime, and I was more than ready for a break. The day had been slow-going and I didn’t have many appointments. I was looking forward to heading over to Bookends. The little bookstore café had become my favorite spot, and a certain sandwich was calling my name. I gathered my things and took a nice slow walk over to the popular hangout. The familiar scent of coffee and freshly baked bread greeted me as I entered.
