I carefully opened his message as I glanced over at Adam, who was still rambling on about his exes. I looked down to read Cole's message.
Cole: Do not do anything. Do not question him. I will handle it. I will see you tomorrow morning and we will talk. Until then, be safe, Tori. Delete this message. In fact, delete our history of messages.
My breath caught as I read his message, my mind racing. Naomi must have told him my plan. He knew what I was doing, and he was trying to protect me and to stop me from doing something reckless.
