The flames in the lich’s eye sockets stared straight at Carl and seemed to be able to see through Carl’s thoughts. The lich scoffed and looked disdainful as he said, “The world has so many misconceptions about liches. They don’t understand that liches are actually mages too.”
Carl was surprised to hear this. Liches were considered mages too?
“Actually, compared to other magic professions, liches are a simpler group and their way of gaining power is the fastest and the easiest.” The lich sounded like he was trying to hypnotize Carl. “An ordinary person on the street just has to choose to become a lich, and they will be able to attain great power in no time.”
If Carl had not already awakened his mental strength, he would have gotten excited after hearing the persuasive words of the lich.
