Jackson
What happened to Gabriella shook the entire pack.
She was only sixteen. She had barely gotten her wolf and still had her whole life ahead of her, yet the heir of the Winds Pack destroyed that innocence without a second thought.
The moment I heard what had been done to her, rage consumed me.
I immediately sent a letter to the Winds Pack, warning them to prepare for war. They needed to understand that actions like this came with consequences. Not long after, Alpha Sebastian replied with an apology and a desperate attempt at negotiation.
It was not enough.
No apology could erase what his son had done.
“Are the warriors ready?” I asked, turning toward my beta, Aaron.
His eyes burned with excitement and fury. “Always, Alpha. Just give the order.”
I took a slow breath and closed my eyes briefly. The moment I opened them again, darkness swirled around me like smoke.
“Then we move tonight,” I said coldly. “We will destroy everyone responsible.”
The warriors instantly prepared themselves.
I ordered Aaron to lead the eastern flank while I handled the west. No one from the Winds Pack would escape us tonight.
As we moved through the forest, I used my magic to conceal our scent. Very few wolves possessed magical abilities, but I had been gifted with them since childhood. It was one of the many reasons neighboring packs feared me.
I had always been stronger than others my age. Faster too.
The other alphas respected that fear.
All except one foolish i***t who thought he could violate one of my pack members and walk away untouched.
Tonight, the Winds Pack would learn exactly who they had provoked.

Aaron
When I heard what happened to Gabriella, I wanted blood.
She was sweet, innocent, and far too young to experience something so horrible. Ever since the attack, she had locked herself inside her room, refusing to speak to anyone.
Jackson tried reassuring her that none of it was her fault, but shame is not something people easily let go of.
As we traveled through the woods, a strange scent suddenly reached my nose.
I raised my hand immediately, signaling the others to stop moving.
The warriors froze behind me.
Quietly, I followed the scent deeper into the trees until I spotted something unexpected.
A girl.
She looked around my age, maybe younger, fast asleep on the forest floor like she did not have a single care in the world. Mosquitoes buzzed around her while snakes slithered nearby, yet she remained completely unconscious.
Who sleeps like that in the middle of the woods?
I stared at her in disbelief before motioning for Davis to come closer.
Using a stick, he nudged her shoulder carefully.
The girl stirred slightly.
“Wake up, i***t,” I growled impatiently.
The moment her scent became clearer, realization hit me.
She belonged to the Winds Pack.

Betty
The second my father announced that the Black Killers pack was coming for us, he immediately rushed to the pack house.
As beta, he would obviously be involved in preparing for war.
Meanwhile, my sister was already throwing clothes into a bag, preparing to leave for the White Moon Pack, where my mother originally came from.
“You should pack too,” my mother told me worriedly. “Both of you need to leave immediately.”
I blinked tiredly at her.
“The Black Killers pack might already have spies watching us,” she continued. “You and Sophie will take the shortcut through the woods. No vehicles.”
I simply nodded and dragged myself upstairs.
After taking a quick shower and brushing my teeth, I changed into faded blue jeans, a brown shirt, and white sneakers before heading back downstairs.
Sophie was already waiting for me near the door, looking annoyed as usual.
Mother refused to leave with us. She wanted to stay beside my father no matter what happened.
So the two of us left alone.
The woods were unusually quiet as we walked.
Unfortunately, the sleepiness started creeping in again.
Oh no.
Not now.
I had actually considered joining the warriors earlier, but the idea of falling asleep in the middle of a battle sounded like the fastest way to die.
Now, while trying to escape, my body decided this was the perfect time to shut down.
Fantastic.
My legs suddenly gave out beneath me, and I collapsed onto the forest floor.
The last thing I heard before darkness swallowed me was Sophie laughing.
“Oh, you are definitely going to die.”
Honestly, I wished she would shut up for once.
