Ava’s POV The pack house felt different the morning after the attack. Everyone was moving quickly as if danger still clung to the walls. There were warriors with bandaged arms and bruised faces walking down the halls, their voices low but urgent. Healers hurried past with herbs and cloths, still tending to the wounded. The air smelled of blood and fear hung over everything. But more than that, it carried determination, they were readying for war.
