Circe and Star had breakfast, and the entire time, Circe could see that Star wanted to ask her something. Almost as if she wasn’t entirely sure how to say it. Circe sat watching her daughter when Ann walked in.
“Ann, I think I’m going to stay with Star for a little while. Now that I don’t have my own house to take care of, I have more freedom to visit.” Circe fought the urge to laugh when she noted the look of relief on Star’s face.
