I just knew the asshole was going to try and ambush us, expected it, still doesn’t stop me being p.issed that the cowardly d**k is here.
‘Baby . .’ that one word makes me want to throat punch him, he doesn’t get to call her baby, not after what he did to her.
I release Seona and turn to face her husband, sparing Noah one glance, clearly telling him to follow my orders and get her out of here. This waste of oxygen isn’t getting a chance to speak to her.
Moving slightly, I completely block the d**k’s view of Seona, hearing her gasp as her brother pretty much drags her toward the parking lot and my truck.
‘Seona . .’ douchebag calls out again, an edge to his voice as he tries to move around me but I block him for a second time.
‘She has nothing to say to you’ I growl firml
