Confusion. That’s what I was feeling the whole night after that seemingly awkward dinner with Farkas. I mean, his actions were really opposite from the facts that were being spread to us before. What is the meaning of this then? Were we fed with lies? But almost everyone in the werewolf realm has that belief against him. He wasn’t the kind of alpha that was praised by everyone. He wasn’t the ideal alpha that everyone would look up to, so what I see now was just…
Ugh.
I sighed and shut my eyes close again, hoping that this time I would be able to sleep already. I don't know why it was hard for me to sleep that night.
After our dinner, Farkas brought me back to my room. He even said his good night along with that perky smirk. And damn! Now, I cannot sleep! I just kept on rolling and rolling around the bed.
"Tch. Why am I here again?" I shook my head and heaved a deep sigh.
I pressed my lips together as I stared at the empty ceiling above me. Damn…
I didn't know how long I was awake or if I did sleep for a long time because just before the sun rose, I was already up, packing my bag.
My mind was blank as I stared at my fully packed bag already. I don't know where to go now. That's the truth. I don't want to be alone in the forest…but I don't know if I should stay…
'We will not stay!'
I groaned and slumped back on the bed again. I buried my face on the bed as I contemplated what to do with my life. Gosh.
"Louve?"
I blinked and immediately rose when I heard that. My eyes immediately widened as I looked at the door.
"Are you awake?" I heard his voice again…
I gulped hard and bit my lip. Suddenly, I felt my heartbeat going faster. Damn it. I took a deep breath before I had the courage to stand and open the door. I was greeted by Farkas' beautiful smile again. He looked fresh…and very handsome.
'Tsk. Don't fall with his charm!'
I grimaced in my head. I wanted to lash out this wolf inside me, but I didn't want to embarrass myself in front of Farkas so I forced myself to give him a tight smile.
"G-Good morning." I slightly and secretly pinched my arm.
"Morning. Did you have a good sleep, hm?" he asked, still smiling at me. I bit my lip.
"Yeah…" I managed to say even though I didn't really have enough sleep last night.
"Right. That's good. Let's go have breakfast then?" he urged. I looked at hum confusely when he reached his hand to me. I swallowed hard.
He didn't move so I did what my reflexes told me to do. I reached for his arm and he smiled even more. I was holding onto his arms as we went to the dining area. Just like last night, his servants were already on the side, bowing their heads, as if they were waiting for their master already. I sighed again. I could hear the rants of my wolf inside my head, but I tried my best to ignore her. I focused on what was in front me.
Farkas held one chair for me. "Thank you," I said as he went to his seat, too. His smile grew bigger.
"I didn't know what you want to eat, so I asked them to prepare everything that we have," he said, gesturing to the foods in front of us.
I turned to the foods in front of me and I couldn't help but have my eyes widened at the sight of all the foods in there. It was like we were going to have a feast! These foods are definitely not for two people only!
"Are you okay?" I heard him chuckle.
"Hmm?" I blinked multiple times as I gulped hard again. I cleared my throat and gave him a shy smile. "Uhhh I just thought that this is too much… I mean it looked like we are going to have a feast." I avoided his gaze. I heard him laugh even more.
"Don't worry, it will also be shared to the others. Take a pick…"
And with that, I found another interesting thing about this supposed to be ruthless alpha. Really? Is this really the real him? Or is he hiding skeletons in his closet? I am totally in confusion right now!

"This is the master's bedroom. That room beside this is the library. You can find everything about the realm in there." I stopped walking and with my eyes widening, I turned to Farkas.
"You have that much readings here?" I asked, confused and amazed.
He shrugged and just smirk. "Let's just say that the elders love us?" And he began walking again. I quickly followed him because I didn't want to be lost in this huge castle!
I didn't know what powers Farkas has on me, but he managed to convince me for a tour of his mansion right after that breakfast. Just like the dinner last night, it was quiet and awkward. There was no conversation and as much as I wanted to start one or even open up about the fact that I will be leaving I couldn't find the courage to do that…so here I am with him, touring his castle. I'd like to call it castle right now even though he just calls it hid house or mansion. Huh. I prefer to stick with the fact that this mansion is a castle.
"This an over looking view of our training ground." I was pulled back to reality the moment we reached the veranda. I was in awe as I saw gis pack warriors doing combat on the ground.
"Wow," was all I could say. It was never like this is Riverstone. Now I know why a lot of the packs fear them. They are warriors here. They are trained to fight and I could see that inthise pack warriors.
They were all dedicated. And when they noticed that we were watching them, they looked up and slightly bowed their heads as if giving their respects to us- I mean Farkas. After that, they went back to training again.
I looked at Farkas and he did the same.
"Your-"
"Alpha! Rogues are outside!"
