"Alpha, I'll go ahead," Lyka suddenly said, which made my eyes widened. I quickly looked at her but she didn't even bother to throw me a glance. She immediately left, leaving me with Farkas alone. Great. Just freaking great. Ugh. "Are you sure you're okay?" I got back to my senses when I felt a hand touching my arm. I flinched before looking up to him. I smiled awkwardly. "Y-yeah! Of course. Uhmm we just talked about Lica. Nothing serious," I added. Though I must say that sounded defensive. But then I couldn't take it away already so I just widened my smile to convince him more… or more like to convince
