“I’m sorry Teal, they don’t know you’re my mate and it would be odd for a human to just be standing around while we strategise how to capture a fugitive. I promise I will be back as soon as I can I will send someone up to check on you as often as possible. Sorry about this,” he gave me a quick kiss and then closed the bedroom door behind him leaving me alone in his dark and quiet bedroom.
