“Babe, the new ultrasound of our baby is looking great, no?” Louise was so elated about the ultrasound of the baby.
I nodded at her and smiled weakly. I don’t want to pretend in front of her but I really can’t be happy right now. I can’t find genuine happiness in me even though we have a child on the way. It feels so empty inside that it makes it harder to even feel something about this. I still have doubts and I still can’t accept it.
