I was thankful that the rain had come to a complete stop by the time the taxi pulled to a stop in front of my apartment building. Even though I loved the rain, I hated getting wet. Something about having wet clothes stuck on your body didn't sit well with me. I quickly paid the driver and with a sigh, got out, and made my way inside. The apartment building had a reception area where parcels and things could be dropped off. Making my way there I  collected my car keys before making my way upstairs. Even though I did not want to, but my mind kept wandering back to the scene at the restaurant and the duo who a few weeks ago were trying to convince me to be in a relationship with them.
