My Alpha Husband's Betrayal

Chapter 2

Rosalie's POV:

I looked from my husband's face in disbelief to Alex's face, who smiled and went back into the room upstairs.

"Liam, we cannot continue with this marriage. I cannot be mated to you! Let go of me?!" I cried, wanting to break free from his grasp around my arms.

Unable to hold my disgust as my tummy churned, I vomited on him, and Liam still firmly gripped my arms as he looked at my face. He then hugged me to himself, muttering, "I'm sorry, Rose, please forgive me."

I shut my eyes closed and remembered seeing him with Alex on the bed. Our matrimonial bed.

I was traumatized by the situation and shrieked out, "Don't touch me!"

"It's okay, Rose. I am sorry. I know this is hard for you to understand. It's why I kept it hidden away from you. Alex is my real mate and he has to endure the pain each time I mated with you. It's why I do not like to sleep with you," Liam confessed, still hugging me to himself.

He then pulled away from the hug and led me away from the vomit on the floor as he led me to sit on one of the exquisite black couches in the living room.

Honestly, I felt faint, as this situation hit me hard.

How can the moon goddess mate my husband to his beta? A man.

"No, Liam. Please let me go. I cannot continue to be your Luna. Just go ahead and marry Alex," I cried, tears pouring out from my eyes like a tap.

Liam Hudson stood in front of me and kept apologizing, saying, "I am sorry, Rose. Please, you know that I love you very much. I accept you as my chosen mate simply because I needed a woman to birth my pups. It's customary that a woman has to be the Luna and not a man. Also, Alex cannot get pregnant by me."

I continued to shake my head in refusal, before I shouted, "That's enough, Liam! I cannot take this anymore. Let's get a divorce today. No one will know the reason we have chosen to separate. Please, let me go back home to my father's house or leave the entire White Rose Pack" I begged him, looking at his handsome face, but his eyes narrowed as his face became stern, and he refused.

"No, Rose. I am sorry, but I cannot allow you to leave me. You will stay with me as the rightful Luna of this pack. I chose you and crowned you as my Luna. Alex and I will only mate when necessary to strengthen our wolf, but he's certain to find a wife soon to bear his future pups."

I looked at my husband's face in disbelief as he stood in front of me. His hands on his waist as he paced about thinking about how to pacify me and make me change my mind.

Just then, we both heard the sounds of footsteps, and looking at the flight of stairs in the living room, Alex came downstairs, dressed in his black shirt, trousers, and shoes. He looked at us and smiled as he seemed like he was about to leave.

"Alpha, I will have to be on my way now to the office," Alex informed Liam, while my anger was still boiling at the stupid smile I saw on his face.

I looked away from him in disgust as he buttoned up his shirt. Liam then replied to him, "It's okay, Alex. You can leave, and not mention this to anyone. You know our agreement. Hopefully, Rose agrees to mate with us to finalize the mating bond."

My eyes darkened in rage as I heard Liam say that. I couldn't mate with him nor Alex, and I had to get away from Liam and flee this pack. If that's what it would take me to do to maintain my sanity.

The humans lived outside our pack, and once I escaped, Liam wouldn't be able to get me.

As I got lost in thought, I didn't know when Alex left the house as he didn't care to apologize to me.

I was still shivering from the shock of what I had seen earlier and unable to bear the hurt and betrayal that I felt.

I felt my blood pressure dropping, and gradually I fainted on the couch with Alex calling my name to keep me stable.

I had been sick that morning, which is why I returned home earlier, and now this.

A few hours later, I awoke on a soft white bed, thinking it was all a dream as my body hurt and my head ached.

As I tried to sit up on the bed to know where I was, I saw myself in the same room that I had seen Liam mating with Alex. On the same bed, and I got nauseous again and vomited on the floor.

The door burst open, and our pack doctor, Mr. Gabriel Black, came in, dressed in a white shirt and black pants. He rushed up to meet me as he was a fair-skinned man, although middle-aged.

"Good evening, Luna Rose. How are you feeling? Oh my goodness! Wait, let me call the maids," he said, swiftly rushing out to send for Vanessa since she was the only maid, and also, now I understand why Liam didn't want too many workers in his house.

He was keeping his affairs with Alex a secret so that no one else would know.

Vanessa was a trusted maid, and betraying her Alpha would warrant her death, so she had her lips sealed, and I assumed that was why she didn't tell me about their stupid affair.

Liam came into the room, wearing a blue shirt and black trousers paired with black shoes. He looked so handsome as he walked into the room like a Greek God, but I immediately looked away from him, just as Dr. Gabriel and Vanessa returned back into the room and met us.

As I tried to sit up properly and get down from the bed, I felt a sharp pain in my tummy, and I groaned out, "Ha!"

"Easy, my love!" Liam rushed to hug me and stop me from getting down from the bed, but I smacked him.

"Don't you dare to touch me! Keep your filthy hands from me!" I growled at him, but he didn't get annoyed as Dr. Gabriel rushed to the bed and met me, with a look of confusion on his face.

"Calm down, Luna. You will be fine," Dr. Gabriel assured me as he moved over to the bed and assisted me while Liam stood aside and watched us.

Vanessa had an apologetic look on her face, while I tried to sit again, but my stomach hurt the more.

"Doctor, my tummy hurts," I cried, and saw the look of worry marred on Liam's face.

"I know, Luna Rose, and that's why I want you to calm down and relax your tensed muscles. No one will hurt you, okay," Dr. Gabriel said, but I scolded him, "Don't call me your Luna again. Call me Rose."

Liam frowned while Dr. Gabriel looked apprehensive to call me by my name. They were all standing in the room while I sat alone on this disgusting bed.

"Doctor, can I be shown to another room. I feel so sick in here," I said, feeling the urge to vomit again. Dr. Gabriel smiled and looked at Liam, "Alpha, can Luna be taken to another room. She will need it now that she's sick and also pregnant."

"What??!" My eyes widened in shock as I heard that I was pregnant.

'Oh no! This cannot be happening to me now. Not when I was planning on divorcing Liam and leaving this godforsaken pack.'

"Doctor, tell me it's not true? I am not pregnant, right? You got the wrong test result there with you," I said even though I knew that I had been sick since the morning and that was the absolute reason why I returned home to rest.

It hadn't occurred to me that I was pregnant. Oh no! What was I thinking, I had mated with Liam unprotected, and now the result was out.
