Carolyn’s Point of View A strawberry shake. The same kind of shake that has exploded all over me in my encounter this morning with Nicholas and Thomas. My head couldn’t stop spinning as I began preparing the drinks, Damian had to be messing with me right now. Making that exact order? It couldn’t just be a coincidence. But when I’d stepped up to that table today, it felt as if Damian could hardly look at me. His mother had asked who I was and he answered her abruptly, as if wanting to cut the conversation short.
