29. The Visit

I froze as I heard the doorbell, unsure of what to do. I wasn't expecting anyone and the last thing I wanted was to deal with annoying humans or even vampires, which would be even harder to get rid of. But the bell continued to ring. I pondered for a second whether I should let it ring, but something was bugging me, telling me to open it. In one jump, I got to the door. To my surprise, I knew who it was before even opening it. His smell soaked through the walls. I didn't wait any longer and ripped the door open. It was Daniel standing in front of me, looking worried.
