*Nessa POV*
I was getting worried that this wasn’t going to work. Was my affection also not enough to bring him back to himself? I didn’t want to let go though. The fact that he wasn’t pushing me away was a little victory in itself.
My tears slip silently down my cheeks. I was really hoping this would have at least done something to him. But I guess it was pointless after all. I would have to think of another way to get Nicholas out of this situation.
Just as I was about to pull away from him, his arm slacks completely, letting Nicholas go. He puts his arms around me, squeezing me to him tighter and deepening our kiss. I gasp in surprise, but soon all thought leaves my brain as the feelings overcome both of us.
