I stood outside the university gate, feeling bewildered as I watched my wife storm off. Just moments before, we had been good together, and now she was disappearing into the crowd of students.
I replayed our conversation in my head, trying to make sense of what had just happened. I had just asked who had given her the picture of me and Mira, but she tried to brush it off, not wanting to reveal the truth.
I had tried to explain, to tell her that I was only trying to protect her, but she wouldn't listen. And now, she was gone, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless.
I sighed, running a hand through my hair as I wondered what to do next. I knew I had to make things right between us, but I had no idea where to start.
