"Daddy, where's Mommy?" Lilac's eyes were filled with sorrow as she looked up at me, her small hand reaching for mine. My heart ached at the sight of her pain. I had brought her to Old Wood Hill to visit my father and grandmother, the only ones who knew that I had a child. When everything was sorted out, I planned to introduce Lilac to my pack.
