I was going to open the door when I heard the knock but then the person behind the door started to knock harder and faster even more persistent. I shivered backwards.
Rushing to my bed, I cowered, my heart racing as the door was being forced open. I shivered with fear, my mind racing with thoughts of what I was going to do or how I was going to escape. But there was no way out. I was trapped.
As the door shifted open, my body tensed up, and I prepared for the worst. I heard the low growl of a wolf, and my blood ran cold. The sound sent shivers down my spine.
