Don't Cross My Border

Ace's Pov:

I had been sitting at my desk doing paperwork for hours just wanting to be done already. "God I hate this is so boring", I say slamming my head on my desk. "Why can't there be a war or something", I complain mostly to myself. "You are probably one of the only people I know who looks forward to war except for maybe Aiden", I hear Derek my Beta chuckle.

"Don't mention his name", I say pointing at him with a glare but he just laughs more. "Man you really hate him don't you", He says recovering from his laughter. "No I don't hate dislike yes hate no", I tell him hoping he'll shut up. " Is it because he's gay cause you know it's messed up if that's why", he says frowning in disapproval. "As a matter of fact I like him better since I find that out at least now he doesn't hit on my mate anymore I dislike him because he's annoying", I tell him. "Yeah well you know some people find you annoying", He says with a shrug causing me to glare at him.

"Enough of this what's going on with our trespasser", I ask him wanting to go find this guy myself and lock him up and torture him. "Same as last time you asked nothing it's like his scent just vanishes whoever this guy is he knows how to hide", Derek tells me annoyed. "We need to find this guy he is really pissing me off not to mention it's gonna make me look bad", I tell starting to get even more pissed. "Not to mention that if either Aiden or Liam hears about how I can't catch one lone wolf I'll never hear the end of it from either", I shout throwing my phone to the wall just as the door opens.

"WHAT THE HELL THAT HAD BETTER NOT HAVE BEEN YOUR PHONE", I hear Rose shout making me look over at the door in horror. "Sorry babe", I say nervously knowing she's probably gonna get pissed since this was my third one in two weeks. "That's the third one in two weeks I'm warning you break another and you will face consequences do you understand", she says and I just nod my head not saying a thing.

"Oh by the way Liam and Alpha Reynolds has been trying to get a hold of you so find a phone and call them while I go buy you a new one", She says walking off. "Dude your in so much trouble", My beta says once again laughing his ass off. "Shut up and give me your damn phone", I tell him. "Fine fine here", He says handing me the phone still laughing making me roll my eyes while I look for Liam's number.

"Derek nice to hear from you but I need to speak with Ace", Liam says after two rings. "This Ace now what do you want", I ask him in a somewhat angry tone. "Woah why so pissy today Ace is it that time of the month", Liam says causing him and Derek to both crack up. "Shut up both of you and tell me what you want", I tell him getting more annoyed. "Hold on I'm adding Alpha Reynolds to the call", he says making me curious as to what's going on.

"My King, Alpha Liam, nice to talk to you both but I wish it was under better circumstances", In hear Alpha Reynolds. "Agreed but I think you should be the one to fill Ace in on what's going on", Liam says. "Yeah that would be great I'm curious to what's happening", I tell them knowing it's probably not good.

"A few days ago I had contacted Liam for help with my daughter hoping maybe he could send someone he said he would needless to she didn't like it when she found out but she accepted it", Alpha Reynolds starts. "She decided she wanted to go to one more party before anyone came I decided not to stop her but I wish I had", I heard him sigh as looked over to see Derek interested since I had put it on speaker. "Something happened didn't it", I asked knowing whatever it was is something bad.

"Yeah apparently one of our top warriors was obsessed with her and he decided he wasn't going to take no for an answer he slipped wolfsbane into her drink not enough to kill her but enough to weaken her so he could take advantage", he says not able to finish the sentence. "No need to finish where is the bastard", I ask hoping to get my hands on him I hate guys like him. "I sent Evan, Max, and Brent to look for him and help the girl", Liam says. "Max managed to track him to your borders", he says making a sadistic grin cross my face. "Oh this will be fun I'm gonna enjoy this hunt", I say out loud looking over at Derek who has the same expression on his face I have he hates guys like him just as much as I do. 

"I want him alive Ace but otherwise have fun also I would like permission for Max, Brent Alpha Reynolds, and his search team to cross into your land to help search", Liam says. "Yeah sure but what about Evan isn't he helping to", I ask wondering why he said nothing about Evan crossing. "No, if he crosses and finds Trey first he'll kill him turns out Sara Reynolds is his mate so you know what will happen if he finds Trey first", Liam says. "Yeah I know and I don't blame if it was Rose I would kill him too", I tell him not seeing the point he's trying to make. "I feel the same but Evan has enough blood on his conscience he doesn't need to add anyone else what happened back then wasn't his fault I won't let him add killing that bastard to what already eats at him", He says.

"So in your own weird way you're trying to protect the guy you used to hate", I ask. "Yeah, I guess I am he did save Mia when I couldn't plus he was a pawn in David's scheme just as many others were", He says. "Well okay then you all have my permission I'll help any way I can but you do know that if by some chance Evan does find him first none of us will be able to stop him", I tell him. "Yeah I know which is why you had better find him first I'm hanging up now have fun dealing with my sister goodbye", he says hanging up. "Sometimes I hate him", I mumble hearing Alpha Reynolds chuckle. "He is something but then so is most of the young alpha's that have taken over I plan to retire myself soon", he says.

"Yeah is your daughter taking over for you", I ask him. "Perhaps if she chooses if not I'll have to make other arrangements but only time will tell", he says. "True I think she would make a fine alpha", I tell him honestly. "Yes she would but I won't make her takeover if it's not something she wants", he tells him. "Well it has been a pleasure talking to you and thank you for your help I'm gonna tell the others we'll meet you at your borders tomorrow morning if that's fine with you", he says. "Yeah that sounds fine I need to go to I have an angry mate to deal with and paperwork", I tell him with a sigh. 

"Well now we know who is on our land", Derek says after I hang up. "Yeah now we gotta find him", I say handing him back his phone. "Weren't you just saying how bored you were", he says looking at me amused. "Yeah I just hate guys like him I mean forcing yourself on someone is just wrong", I tell him and he nods in agreement. "Yeah but on the bright side at least we get to hunt him down and all Liam said was to bring him back alive", he says. "Yeah that true and the fact that he was a warrior means he'll put up a fight", I tell him. 

But one thing was bothering me if Evan shows up there will be no stopping him and honestly I don't think I want to.
