CHAPTER THREE
∞Memory over instinct∞
As I go back to the dorm nakasalubong ako ng iilang student. Sabi ni Head Mistress Chiaka sakin na next week pa talaga ang start class ng school dito dahil iba daw ang oras dito and not the same as the human world.
Nagtataka ako bakit iba ang uniform nila na suot ko? They had their white and grey color. Unlike sa Mint Academy na black and white. The edge of the skirt, blazer and the blouse are gray unlike sa Mint Academy na black also yung skirt ng Mint Academy pure white, white din ang blazer and the bottom blouse nito. Yung lining lang talaga ang black.
Dito sa Twelve Academy. Gray ang blazer and ang skirt, yung lining ang white. And then yung bottom blouse ay white. Much more elegant and prestigious than Mint Academy. Napanganga naman ako literal ng tingnan ko ang uniform ko, teka di naman ako nagpalit ah? Bakit uniform ng Twelve Academy ang gamit ko? Teka anong nangyayari?
I had gray blazer and gray skirt with a white lining and white blouse at the bottom and my necktie are different. Its gold and silver?! What the hell!? Langya kakaisip nagugutom ako. Naglakad ako papunta sa cafeteria para mag lunch base kasi sa kalam ng sikmura ko its already lunch.
I miss my mom already. Kada lunch kasi sya ang nagluluto para sakin and if my mom applied as a chef ay magiging world star chef sya dahil sa sobrang sarap ng luto nya pero sabi nya sakin na hindi nya daw gusto and ang gusto nya lang na makatikim ng luto ko ay ako lang.
I smiled with my thought. Halos mapanganga ako sa nakita ko kung gaano kalaki ang cafeteria. Seryoso? Parang buong SM na ata to eh! I look at the sign board na nasa labas at sa calligraphy na nakalagay sa taas ng pinto na nakasulat CAFETERIA and sa sign board naman ang nakalagay...

"Hindi kaya mapagod ang mga third year, fourth and ang mga Legendary na tinatawag nila?" Mahina kong bulong sa sarili ko.
Nagkibit balikat na lang ako at saka pumasok. Napanganga na naman ako sa sobrang laki hindi ba talaga marunong magtipid ang mga taga dito sa space? Hello, rumarami na ang populasyon?! Pumunta ako sa counter at ngumiti sa nagtitinda.
Sinabi ko ang order ko at agad naman nyang binigay dahil sa wala pa masyadong tao at di pa talaga start ang class ang first floor pa lang ang nakaopen at limang student lang kami na nandito sa loob. Yung dalawa nasa magkabilang dulo nasa gitna naman ang isa at nasa kabilang dulo pa ang isa. Ewan.
I don’t mind them. Tinikman ko na lang ang luto dito. Wow! Grabe ang sarap! Halos maging heart na ang mata ko dahil sa sobrang sarap ng pagkain nila dito! Sigurado ba silang libre to?!
"Listen Lily. This school is not like what you think, there's a lot here that you need to learn. Specially, with your lost memory. Your needs are all here and it’s free. From clothes to foods except for what you need when we had a special occasion like balls and others," I nod and listen attentively at what Miss Chiaka said "You can’t go back to the Human world unless you had a permission. Its forbidden. Also do not sneak out to your dorm and attempt to go to the castle it’s forbidden." she added and i nod "Now, this is your room. Enjoy staying here."
After I ate, I'm finally full, I loved it. I’m supposed to stand up and leave when a person suddenly appears in front of me. Take note one-inch na lang! Halos manlaki ang mga mata ko at naitulak ko sya napa ‘ow’ naman sya.
And thankfully the four students here earlier aren’t here anymore. I glare to that man na hingal na hingal.
"What the hell do yah think you doin'?" I ask him and then he stood up and face me.
"Your mom is here, she wants you to be there in thirty minutes or else I'm dead so stop complaining, stop asking and here we go."
Hinawakan nya ako at sa isang pikit lang nasa ibang lugar na ko, nganga. Nawala ako bigla sa cafeteria and nandito ako sa isang office. I'm shock! What the hell did happened? What was that? What the--
"Lily!"
"Ouch! Why did you hit me, mom?!”
"It’s because you’re not here!”
"I’m on the cafeteria! And here I am! Can’t you see? You just slap me and telling me that I am not here?! What the heck is your problem, mom?!” Irritatingly said.
"You’re here physically but not mentally!”
Oh gosh, give me a break mom.
"It’s because I’m shocked! Can’t you see? I’m still adopting here! How the hell can I adopt as soon as possible when inside the cafeteria then in a second I’m finally here?!”
"Can both of you calm down?! Please, silence! You don’t have to yell at each other. Hello, magkaharap lang kayo.”
I stopped. Tiningnan ko kung sino ang nagsalita and she has these crimson eyes. Bakit parang nakita ko na sya noon? Ay ewan, I rolled my eyes and look at my mom.
"Like mother, like daughter." Sabi naman ng isang lalaki.
I raise my eyebrow and look at my mommy, she faces her palm and then sigh, take note. A heavy one.
"Lily," I just look at her, "Di ba alam mo naman na di ka normal di ba?" I nod.
When I was five years old, I can boost the fire, wind, earthquake and even the waves. I can make the fire burn the whole house just like what I did to our former village. It’s just a small village and everyone seems so nice yet, I burned it all even the people, I really hate myself for doing that.
I can also make a big wave like what I did in Country J. The tsunami, it was because of me. Even if I’m at the Country P, City M, I think of the wave that will hit the Country J and then the rain started without any warning and it falls until it caused floods and I still think of having a tsunami there and then boom, it really happened.
The earthquake that happened in Country Ch it’s all also because of me. We’re there. We had a vacation and yet, I ruin it all. I felt like there is something under the ground and through curiosity I make it stronger than it will be.
I am such a destroyer!
"Lily baby, don’t think about it anymore," mom snap the hell out of me out of my thoughts. "It’s not your fault that all of it happened. It’s just that, hindi mo pa kontrolado ang kapangyarihan mo and that is the reason why you are here." sabi nya pa and I nod. "Lily," I look at my mom’s eyes, "I’m so proud of you."
I suddenly burst in to tears. My mom knew what happened to me in the past few years and yet, she didn’t mind of it and never asked me but she always been there for me. She respects me. Hinintay nyang sabihin ko sa kanya.
"Such a cry baby like you ate Luna."
"Hoy! Umayos ka Rika ng dahil sayo naging matigas ang ulo nito!"
"Excuse me? Baka dahil sayo. Hello, ako kaya nag alaga sa kanya."
Rika?
Why is it feels like I know her? Nakita ko na ba sya dati? Bakit parang kilalang kilala ko sya? Saan ko nga ba sya nakita?
Ugh! Bwisit ang sakit ng ulo ko. Napaupo ako sa sahig at napahawak sa ulo ko. Hindi naman magkanda-ugaga ang mga tao na kasama ko dito sa room na to.
"Shemay, nasan si Vinle?"
"Rika, kalma ka lang nasa clinic sya."
"Anong tinutunganga mo jan kambal?! Hindi mo ba sya bubuhatin?"
"Lalaki tumulong ka!"
"Ako na po." Sabi ng isang boses.
"Buti naman Miko dumating na kayo. Dalhin nyo ‘tong si Lily sa clinic."
And that’s it. Everything went black.

When I woke up and I was already in my room. Today, is the first day of me being a student here. Even if I’m now a third-year high school I hate it when I still look like a first year. I’m lost.

And all my subjects are listed below. I know, I'm somehow a grade conscious but being in special class? Hindi kaya ako ang mangulelat nito?
I sighed.
I force myself off my bed and then I look at the bed next to my bed. It’s still empty I wonder who’s going to be my dormmate? I never met her when I spend my first night here even today. I guess later in the evening? I shrug and then go to the bath room to fix myself.
After kong mag ayos ay agad na akong lumabas. Sabi ni Head Mistress Chiaka na dumaan muna daw ako sa faculty and meet my Professor named Maya. She will be going to be my adviser daw kaya kailagan ko muna syang puntahan.
