Chapter 32

1646 Words

I headed for the kitchen while contemplating everything that has happened in the last two days. It's overwhelming with how much s**t has hit the fan, but I gotta do my best not to let it show. How can I tell others everything is going to be okay if I don't believe it myself? Hopefully, we have enough rations to make it through this storm if it is as bad as Aina thinks it is. Walking past the open windows towards the kitchen, the rainfall only gets harder with each passing second. A few servants of the castle come flying past me to try and lock everything up before the halls get flooded with water. As I headed for the kitchen door, I headed yelling at the other side of it. I don't recognise the voices, come to think of it. I don't think I have really spoken to anyone outside of Alessandra.
