The last two nights Dale had stayed over. On the Sunday he nipped to his place to get his clothes for work and spare stuff for keeping here. It never once crossed my mind that he was moving too fast because deep down this is what I have always wanted. Now Tuesday afternoon and I am in the bakery for the first times in months. Abi is happily playing in her playpen on the office while I float between there and the kitchen. When I think back to way before Abi was born when it was just me on my own in this place.
