As we sat and had lunch with Skye, Calum and Abi, Tony joined us for a coffee and gave me a little update on things around the business. Dale had said not to overdo things, but I need to get back to normal. I have been hiding away for far too long now and with Dale back to his old self, I need to try harder.
I had already decided the other day to give Tony more shares in the business. The man has practically ran both the bakery and café himself, with me only doing the accounts. How he will take it will be a different story. I might just not make that big a deal about it and get him to sign the paperwork without him really knowing what it is for.
Well, that was my plan until he has announced he wants to retire soon and not take on as much responsibility. Meaning I will need to up my game
