Victor walked back into his house with hopes that Jasmine would be around but the house and everything was quiet, it seemed like no one was around at the moment, he walked back to the room she was using before but everything was out back to the way it was before, the bed was well spread and there was no sign of her either in the room, he hurried getting back into the house hoping he would still get her but she had vanished long gone, nowhere to be seen and no track left for him to find her and once again he felt hollow, he was starting to like her vibe, she was a talkative person, yet humorous and funny at the same time.

He went to the bathroom but there was no sign of her, he even tried calling her name but got no response he went to the closet to check and luckily for him, she had taken the dress and the money he left her, at least she was that half bad as he thought she was, as he pushed the drawer back, a note fell from one of the drawers, it was her note and he felt happy that she wrote back to me, it was unlike Victor to feel so hyped up about a person, everything was always about him and he would always spend his time alone if not with Klaus his best friend, he had no other friends or male accomplices but there was something about jasmine that left him smiling the two days he had just gotten to know her, the calmness in her voice when she spoke but meant every word she said, her gentle aura was what made Victor wish they could at least get to know each other, trying female friendship would be a start of him liking women or getting a girlfriend for himself, it had all to start from somewhere and someone said if you want to make things right you have to go back to the drawing board and figure out where you actually went wrong.

“Hey Victor, I know by the time you are reading this, I would be long gone, but I just want to thank you for everything you have done for me, not anyone in your status how would have done what you did, that was noble, I was on the wrong lane but you took me to the hospital and all that, thank, I don’t know how I will ever repay you back but one day maybe I will, I got the dress and the cash for medication, although it was a little bit more than what was needed because I am one person that goes to public hospitals but don’t worry about that, for as long I retain back my health, that is all that matters, thank and I am sorry that I couldn’t say thank you to you in person, it because I just got an emergency back at home, my mom, I hope you get this well though, one again thank you, Jasmine.”

“He couldn’t stop rereading through the note, she was kind enough to leave a note but since he didn’t want to dwell so much on that, he went with the note upstairs and stuck it in his diary book, he had a family dinner to attend at his parents’ house and he had to meet Klaus in a few minutes, they were to go in town to attend to some business before he could head to his parents lace, so he immediately got into the shower to freshen up and get ready for the day, by the time he was done, Klaus was already waiting for him downstairs.”

“Man you are taking the whole day just to take a simple shower, who are you again huh?”

“You shut up, I just got into the shower like twenty minutes ago, what have you got?”

“Twenty minutes is a long time for a guy to be in the shower but anyway, here we are, so what’s up, you sounded like there was something you wanted to tell me and couldn’t tell me on the phone, so what is it?’

“It is about the family dinner tonight, you know you and I have been family for as long as I can remember I wanted to accompany me to the family dinner that is if you are up for it and you don’t mind.”

“Of course I don’t mind, but your mom didn’t invite me for the occasion, how do you suppose I would just show up uninvited?”

“And what do you think I am doing right now? I am inviting you dumbass.”

“Oh yeah, I will take you, I know you are afraid of your mom and your sister, so I have your back, but I believe that is not what you wanted to tell me, so why don’t you just go ahead and tell me what is going on, I mean what is it that you wanted to talk to me about?” He questioned and Victor sighed, he didn’t know if it was okay for him to tell his friend about what happened and didn’t know what he would say after he told him either.

“It is probably nothing to you, I mean it is not that important.” He said shrugging and Klaus gave him a ‘are you sure about that’ look.

“I think if it wasn’t that serious, you wouldn’t be here struggling to tell me what really happened, so why don’t you just go ahead and tell me, just spit it out, did you get some girl in bed last night?”

“I wish that was true but that is not even the case.”

“So are you admitting that you need to get laid, finally you talking about it huh? So tell me what transpired or is it about Raquel, I haven’t seen her around, did you manage to throw her out because I understand how hard that can be.”

“I am telling you I had to walk upstairs and take her suitcase from her room, I had to literally throw out because she was not going to go, I had to do something about it and it was embarrassing to me because I was with Jasmine the whole time.”

“Who is Jasmine, is she the lady that you brought over the other night, finally the bachelor got laid yesterday maybe you should tell your mom and sister about it so they wouldn’t come to conclusion that you are gay whenever you not interested in being in a relationship with any woman.” He said and Victor exhaled sharply.

“That is not the case, will you please shut up so I can tell what really went down yesterday, your problem is that you talk too much.”

“Okay my bad man, it is just that you are making me so anxious by not telling me what is going on already.”

“Okay now shut up and let me tell you exactly what happened, Jasmine is the lady I saved the other day at the restaurant.”

“Wait what? Don’t tell that you went looking for her after that incident, I thought you said you were just trying to help, she is an underling bro.”

“Yes I know and so what if she is an underling? And point of correction, I didn’t go about looking for her, we bumped into each other yesterday in a very awkward situation.”

“By awkward you mean?”

“Awkward meaning I hit her with my car and now I had to rush her to the hospital.”

“Oh please tell me that is not true.”

“And why wouldn’t it be true huh?”

“Because she is an underling bro, you don’t get it, do you?”

“And what is wrong with her being an underling, it is not like we have anything going on, I hit her with my car and it was my responsibility to take her to the hospital.”

“Yeah and why did you bring her over to your place or you just because Doctor Strange and I am the last person to know about that?”

“Your problem is that you speak so much, one would think you know the story and I am the one telling you the story, anyway you don’t know much about relationships because you and I are just sailing in the same ship, so tell me, when did you become an expert on relationships?”

“So you want to have a relationship with her? I am sure I can give you more solid advice before you take up that risk, she is not your type, in case you want a girlfriend in your life which I know you don’t because you can’t, if you need to get laid, just talk to me, I will link you up with the one you deserve, those who are worth it, leave that waiter alone.”

“You don’t even want to know if she is okay or not because I would have killed her during the accident you know?”

“Yes and that is none of my concerns right now, but I am glad that you are okay.”

“Yes thank you so much for asking about my welfare, I think I did a mistake telling you the story and I don’t need you to hook me up with anyone because I can do it myself and I am not just a duckling sitting around waiting for the might Klaus to hook me up with one of his prostitutes.”

“They are not prostitutes, they are my girls.”

“Yeah I know but they act like it though, you can’t blame me for calling them that.” He said an shrugged his shoulders and Klaus laughed it off.

“Okay I will take that a compliment but don’t forget about what I told you, in case you need help with anything, you know where to find me but don’t get stuck on that girl, she is worth it, I mean she is not worth your attention, you seem like you are starting to like her.”

“No, now you got my point all wrong, I just told you that I took her to the hospital, she is likeable even by you, by anyone.”

“Oh really but you have never brought any girl since what last happened to you, so is she changing the old you or what exactly is going on with you?”

“I don’t think you are going to let this go, so why don’t we go and deal with what we were to deal with because I don’t want to talk about it.”

“Okay my bad, I am sorry, come on let us get going then.”
