[Jade]
I woke up terrified and sweating all over for the umpteenth time this week.
It was the same random incomprehensible dream.
It always started with me roaming about in a dark field then a strange figure coming after me and pursuing me.
The strange figure always pursued me until I fell into a huge pit, the same pit every time, and then it would lower an iron cover and lock me up in the pit.
Just before it lowers the cover though, a flash of light will shine and I would catch a glimpse of its face, the scary thing was that that face was mine.
Hence my confusion.
Why would I be pursuing myself and trying to cause harm to myself?
I felt very hot and I couldn't sleep again so I went out to the balcony.
The night was dark and for a second it almost reminded me of my dream until I heard the sound of a car driving down the road and saw its headlights flashing in the distance.
The mansion was sitting on about 100 acres of land and it was considered to be one of the largest estates in Florida.
Most of the pack families built their houses on the estate grounds but they were not so close to the mansion.
The rest of it was the woods and the lake, the pack needed enough space so that they could shift and hunt without being seen by humans.
Most werewolves went to school like other humans but they were trained properly to hide their nature.
"What are you doing out here?" Mason spoke from behind me, wrapping me with a blanket.
"I couldn't sleep," I told truthfully.
"Really." He smirked, pulling me into his arms. "You know there are other things we can do if you can't sleep."
"Mason." I smiled as he reached into my nightgown and pinched my n*pple.
"Let's go inside." He whispered, kissing my earlobe.
My shiver had nothing to do with the cold as I followed him back inside.
He showered me with love and the both of us stayed up till the morning.

"Your therapist called for the hundredth time already." My mother exaggerated.
We were having breakfast at the dining table, we had taken to this habit of eating together after the green sickness.
I liked it because it allowed all of us to interact more often than we usually did.
Mason sipped his coffee quietly as he watched my reaction over the mug in his hand.
He never liked to get in-between my family issues except it could cause me harm which most times it didn't.
"I don't like that woman," I murmured silently.
"What did you say?" My mother asked, frowning at me.
"How is the baby, Liya?" I asked, changing the subject.
Liya was watching the exchange chewing a huge slice of pancake in her, her appetite had improved since she discovered that she was still pregnant and her appearance had also improved.
Her skin had a radiant glow to it and she was always in a positive mood.
"Oh, the baby is doing just fine, I tell you he is going to be one hell of an eater." She joked.
"He?" Jayden asked, staring at her.
"Or she, but I do think it's a he." She replied.
"You know that you can get an ultrasound to know for sure right?" Sirius rolled his eyes.
"I know, but the baby won't show itself." She said,
"Oh, so it's the baby now." He mocked her and everyone laughed.
"It doesn't matter what gender of child you have, a baby will always be a baby," Mason said, dropping his mug on the saucer.
"Is there anything important on our agenda today?" He asked.
"Zefa called, she said the witches council already gave us their support, they'll help us in any way they can," Sirius responded.
"Are the witches still a threat to us?" My mother asked, gripping the sides of her seat tightly.
"We cannot be too careful." That was all Sirius replied.
"We have some work to do." Jayden got up staring at Mason. "Babe, take care of yourself and our baby." He pecked Liya on the forehead.
"Sure, I'm done here." Mason pecked me on the forehead as well and left with Jay.
The rest of us turned to look at Sirius who was the only remaining male seated at the table.
"Don't look at me, I don't got work to do." He said, making us laugh.
"You do need to go for therapy, Jade." My mother pressed me again.
"I'm fine mom, really I am. Why am I the only person you press to go to therapy?" I frowned.
"Because Jay doesn't need to be told to do so and I'm really worried for you. You don't have to be strong every time, it's not healthy to keep your feelings bottled up." She said,
I really wanted to go into a rage but I calmed myself because my rage would only fuel her need to get me in therapy.
"Fine, mom, I'll go today." I conceded, shaking my head.
"You know, your mother is only worried about you," Sirius said. "We wolves do not understand the need for therapy but if your mother says you need it then I guess you do need it."
"Yeah, you really should go," Liya added munching on some garlic bread.
"I will, thank you all very much," I said and got up from the table.
"I think you should go to therapy, you haven't been sleeping well of late." Mason mind linked me as soon as I left the dining table.

[Dr. Linda]
"I told you that she's going to come back." I laughed into the receiver after confirming Jade's appointment.
"And what do you think that's going to do?" Dinai sneered bitterly.
She was bitter because her latest attempt on the wolves had backfired on her, those creatures had called her soul back to the body she had possessed and they had kept her prisoner until her body was about rotten.
"Look, why don't you channel your hate for them into helping me, so that we can take them down together," I told her.
"I want nothing more than to destroy those vile creatures." Her voice rose so high that I had to move the receiver away from my ear.
"So, what do you think I should do?"
"They are very smart, you need to empathize with her and she mustn't find out about your true nature. Start with isolating her goals from that of her mate's, she wishes she could attend college in NYU and become some big shot writer."
"That's great, thank you for your help." I thanked her.
"I'm afraid you don't have much time, mother is about to pull the plug on all of this, she wants to do it herself, she thinks we're incapable, we have failed her." Her voice dropped low as she spoke.
"Fine then, this may be our one shot at redemption," I told her and the line went dead.
I took a deep breath and checked around the office to make sure that nothing was out of order, she was scheduled to be here in a few minutes and I didn't want her to see anything that might arise her suspicions of me.
"Miss Linda." She knocked a while later.
"Yes, please come in," I spoke formally and adjusted a bit in my chair.
"Hi." She came in and took a seat opposite me.
"Miss Forrester, so glad you could make it today, I do hope we can make today a really productive session," I said, referring to the times when she would come in and just ignore me till the session was over.
"No, this time I think I really need therapy." She said,
"Well, that's great news, I am here to help you and if you let me, I intend to."
"Yes, I want help."
"Tell me, Miss Forrester—"
"Please call me, Jade." She said and I smirked.
She was going to make it easy for me this time around.
"Okay, Jade, tell me, how have you been sleeping?" I asked her empathetically.
"I haven't been sleeping." She sighed, there were large circles under her eyes and she looked exhausted.
"Okay, I can tell, what will you say is the reason why you can't sleep?"
"I keep having the same dream." She said and I sat upright to listen better.
"Well Jade, when we try to suppress our feelings and emotions, our subconscious mind tends to replay that to us in the form of terrifying dreams."
"I don't know." She said,
"What I mean is that the dream is your mind trying to tell you that something is wrong, tell me the characteristics of this dream so that I can find some sort of connection." I urged her.
"I mean, I don't know, how will that help, do you need to know the dream?" She asked me.
"Yes!" I screamed in my mind but I knew that I couldn't say that out loud.
"It's fine, you should take your time, when you're ready to open up about it, I will be here to listen and help you work out your issues."
