[Jay]
I looked at the sleeping Liya beside me. A few months ago she used to wake up earlier than me but these days she'd been tired lately especially since she had to do both Mason and Sirius' jobs when they weren't around.
Now that they were back I was glad she was sleeping in, I made her promise to look after herself and I was glad that she was keeping her promise.
She stirred in bed and I smiled came to my face when I caught sight of a reddened n*pple, I grinned remembering the events of last night, it had been so great as always and we had worn each other out.
I couldn't believe it but my love for Liya seemed to be growing more and I knew that it wasn't the wolf way but I wanted to marry her, I wanted to make her my wife and I was eager to see her mini version running around, I hoped that we would have twins because I loved the bond me and Jade had and I wished for that kind of bind for my children.
"What are you thinking about?" She opened her eyes and asked, yawning wildly.
"Good morning babe." I kissed her on the lips. "I'm thinking about how lucky I am to be able to wake up beside you every day," I told her truthfully and I watched her eyes shimmer with tears.
It was amazing how this powerful woman could be so soft and vulnerable around me.
"I'm very lucky too, in fact, I'm the luckiest wolf in the world." She smiled at me trying hard not to cry. "I love you, Jay." She told me, hot fat tears spilling down her face.
"Aww, I love you too babe." I wiped away her tears and hugged her.
I hugged her and she still kept on crying, it was so unlike her.
"I don't know what's wrong with me, my hormones are all over the place, I'm sorry." She apologized, cleaning her tears.
"You never have to be sorry, not with me," I told her and sniffed her hair. "Can't we just stay in bed all day, Mason and Sirius are back."
"Yeah." She chuckled. "I have an important meeting with the Alpha then I'm free, you?"
"I have to file some documents, audit some accounts, check in with our investment bankers, check in on our international investments," I told her.
"Seems like you have a lot to do today." She told me.
"Yeah, I'll see you for lunch and dinner." I pecked her head and got out of bed. "I'm going to take a shower, care to join me," I asked her, removing my shirt and throwing it at her.
"You don't have to ask me twice." She smiled at me, catching my shirt mid-air.
I walked back to the bed and picked her up, she squealed loudly when I threw her over my shoulder and I spanked her lightly.
"Jay." She called me playfully and smacked my butt back.
"You're going to regret that," I told her, running towards the bathroom.

"Thanks for coming," I said to Jade as she walked into the office.
"Come on." She shook her head and hugged me. "Anytime."
I had finished only a quarter of all the work I had to do but I couldn't seem to concentrate, I was just thinking about Liya even though I just left her not too long ago.
"It's about Liya," I told Jade when she kept staring at me.
"I know." She nodded her head. "What's going on?"
"I want to ask her to marry me." I blurted out and I almost regretted it because Jade jumped up and squealed loudly.
"Jay, that's amazing, oh my God, that's great, I love it."
You would think she was the one I wanted to propose to, she was super excited.
"You don't seem excited, what's wrong?" She asked me.
"I don't know how she will feel about that, wolves don't exactly get married and I think I'm ready to have children or pups with her," I announced.
"Liya adores you, Jay." She started holding my hands. "She'd love the idea, am sure, have you seen how she is to the young ones, she will be a great mother, I think you should go for it."
"Okay, thanks." I smiled at her. "I'm going to need your help though," I told her.
"Do you have a ring?" She asked me.
"Yes, mother gave me her diamond ring," I said, bringing the black box out of my pocket.
"Wow, it's beautiful, I'm surprised she hasn't noticed it yet, you carry it around?" Jade laughed, teasing me.
"I just want everything to be perfect," I told her.
"Sure, leave that to me, have you thought about how and when you'd like to pop the question?" She asked.
"Yes, I invited her to dinner tonight, I was thinking of popping the question then," I told her.
"Okay." She said and she appeared to be calculating for a while before she responded again. "I know the perfect spot, I'll get some wolves to set it up, it'll be grand."
"I'd like you and Mason to be there, maybe mom and Sirius too," I said.
"Of course, I'll arrange everything, we'll be there." She told me and gave me another hug. "I'm so happy for you brother."
"Thank you, Jay." I smiled and hugged her back.
"I have to go and organize everything, see you later." She practically sprinted out of the office.
I was happy that I had her support, at first I thought she would think I was too old fashioned or lame but she loves the idea and she made me more confident in my plan.
I went back to my work and this time I could concentrate. I had missed a lot of time discussing with Jade so I could not make lunch. I mind linked Liya and apologized for that, she understood and I confirmed our dinner date.
"Wear something nice," I told her and heard her laugh in my head.

[Liya]
I hurriedly got up from the kitchen table and buried my head in the sink, throwing up the tiny lunch I had been trying to eat.
I felt sick.
It was the third time this morning, at breakfast I couldn't keep anything down, since my stomach was empty. I tried a snack in the mid-morning but I couldn't keep that down too, now I was vomiting my lunch into the sink.
"Dear child, are you okay?" Nana asked, patting my back softly.
"No," I washed my mouth and flushed the vomit down the drain with water. "I feel sick."
"How long have you been feeling sick?" She asked, looking at me strangely.
"I don't know," I told her truthfully. "But I've thrown up thrice this morning."
"Have you been to the pack hospital?" She looked close to panic.
"No, but I'm sure it's nothing, I'm sure something I ate didn't agree with me and is causing all this," I said, trying to calm the older woman down.
"I'm not sure, but I think you're with a pup." She said and my eyes widened.
"With pup?" I asked her, my voice trembling.
"Yes." She said." Do you feel a funny feeling in your belly?"
There was a possibility, I thought I was late because of the stress I'd gone through when Sirius and Mason weren't around but it might not have been that.
"I have to go to the hospital immediately," I told her and rushed out.
"Children of nowadays, at your age I'd already birth three pups." I heard her mutter as I ran off.
I was seen immediately. I got to the hospital because of my wolf rank. Without wasting any time, the nurse took my blood and prepared me for an ultrasound.
If I was pregnant, then there was a possibility that I was almost already halfway gone because we had a faster gestation period than humans.
If I were a total wolf, I would have a gestation period of about three months and if I were human I would take about nine months but since I was a werewolf, it would take about six months except if I was expecting twins then it would take a bit longer.
"You're pregnant." The doctor came back a while later with my blood work report.
"Pregnant, are you sure?" My hands trembled and my voice shook, Jay and I had never talked about having pups, I didn't know how he would feel about this news.
"Do you want to see your pup?" The doctor ignored my question and asked.
"No, I'll be back with my mate," I told him and fled the hospital immediately.
Jay mind liked me to apologize for missing lunch and he confirmed our dinner for tonight.
I felt very nervous especially when he asked me to wear something nice. I wondered if my belly would show if I decided to wear a more revealing outfit.
I really was pregnant.
I touched my belly, it did not seem to have grown that much and I smiled. I was having a child, I was going to be a mother.
There was no other news that could beat that, so I decided to tell Jay about it at our dinner later tonight.
I went back to my room because I was done with my work for today and I just wanted to rest and prepare for tonight. I wanted it to be special and I also wanted to think about how I would reveal the surprise to him.
I hoped he would be as happy as I was.
***
"How do I look?" I asked Jade, I kept touching my belly and I wondered if more people had already noticed.
I wanted to tell Jade but first I wanted Jay and I to have the moment to ourselves before we started telling people.
"You look beautiful." Jade smiled at me.
I was dressed in a long beautiful silver gown and it hugged my body tightly, there was an x at the back of the gown and the bodice shimmered as I moved.
My hair was packed by my maids and they pinned it up on my head, only a few loose curls fell down my face, I had minimal makeup on since the smell made me want to gag and I had on the cutest kitten heels I had ever seen.
"Why are you dressed, are you having dinner with Mason as well?" I asked Jade, when she came into my room she was already dressed.
Her green dress complimented the color of her eyes and the backless dress showed off her curves beautifully.
She had her beautiful auburn hair in a high ponytail and she had an emerald choker on her neck.
"Yes." She smiled at me. "I just came to give you this." She opened up a jewelry box containing a diamond earring and pendant set.
"Oh my goodness, Jade." I gasped out of surprise, the jewelry was very beautiful.
"It belonged to my grandmother, it was supposed to come to me but I already have more than enough jewelry from Mason's mother's collection and since Jay can't wear it, I decided to give it to you ." She placed the box in my hands.
"This, it's so precious," I told her, tears streaming down my face.
"Aww, you don't have to cry." She said softly. "You'll ruin your makeup."
"Thank you very much." I smiled, looking upwards so that I could control my tears.
She stood behind me and helped me put the necklace and earrings on.
"You look very beautiful." She smiled at me and hugged me.
"What's taking so long?" A grumpy Mason banged on the door and asked.
We both turned to the door and started laughing uncontrollably.
"You should go, I know he's not here for me." I nudged Jade to go with her mate while I was left in the room nervously awaiting mine.
