After two months

It was now towards the end of the semester, the week was busy with students roaming in and out of school, in the library and you'd meet some in small groups for discussions.

Lisa and Adrian had grown fond of each other and very close, their relationship was always admired by several campus couples, how they stayed together but still managed their studies plus work. They had opened a cyber cafe just across the school gate and the business was doing quite well, they managed to employ a few people to help them manage their business. Lisa had gone for driving school and had already been issued a driving licence, they would sometimes drive to school or sometimes take public means, their relationship was something anyone would admire.

Some people say the age difference between 18-25 is when most of the teen find and came across a lot of temporary people but as for Lisa and Adrian, theirs was a true love story and they were willing to fight for it provided they still got each other's back.

Roy on the other end had already finished his final exams and was anxiously waiting for his sister, Lisa had promised to give him her old phone and laptop since she got new phone and laptop on her birthday, Roy couldn't just wait to see her, he was determined he was gonna pass his exams and join University just like his other siblings.

Adrian was almost finishing his degree but he had promised to wait up for Lisa to finish her degree first before they moved to Nairobi, he wanted to manage their business as Lisa finished her last year in campus,it was just a few months before that happened.

They were celebrating their 1st anniversary on this day, the day Adrian proposed to Her, she still had the ring.

They held a small party in their crib, invited some of their close friends, Lydia traveled earlier, their relationship with Aiden was also growing into something else,they had gotten so close and you wouldn't even imagine that was the Aiden who used to be a Playboy, he was so loyal to her, well maybe time was running out and catching up with him so he chose to belong to one woman, and the woman was Lydia.

They party was just a simple one but since Adrian was well known in the campus,many people showed up, it was an eventful.

Days moved and it was almost one week before they both went home for December Holiday, they had agreed to first go visit her family before they want back to spent the holiday at Adrian's place.

As they prepared themselves, Adrian bought some gifts for Lisa's family. Lisa also got her grandmother something and her brothers too.

They packed, they were to travel using their sports car, Lydia slept over and they both traveled the following day. The journey was long but they finally got to Lisa's place.

Roy was the first to spot the car from his room upstairs, he ran to the living room and found his grandmother.

"Grandma isn't that Lisa and her boyfriend?"

"Who?" She asked confused

"They just entered through the gate,in a sleek black convertible sports car" he said

"What are you taking about son?". She asked still surprised

Before he could answer her, the door bell rang and he ran to go check who was on the door

"And here they are, wow guys!" He said excited

"Look at who is here, little brother how are you?"

"I'm good sis, wow who's this talk cute guy?"

"Well that's my boyfriend Adrian, babe meet my little brother Roy, Roy this is Adrian, you talked to him once"

"Wow feels nice finally meeting you man, I never knew you were this tall" Adrian chuckled

"That's a thing for basketball players z I hope you didn't forget about that"

"How can I forget that,I'm a huge fan man"

"Well Roy enough of the chit chat, let's get in I'm getting tired already standing here listening to your boring talks".

"Says my jealous type of a sister, just say you don't fit in men's talk"

"Whatever Roy, help me carry this"

Roy helped her carry the shopping bag to the living room, they had passed don't the mall and did some shopping for her grandmother.

"Wow look at who we have here, Adrian I never knew you guys were coming over, I'd have prepared something for you guys" her grandma said as she hugged the both of them.

"Don't worry grandma we grabbed something on our way here, we also came along with Lydia although she went to their house to change"

"It's okay make yourself comfortable, this is now Lisa's home place"

"Thanks grandma, I'm humbled"

Lisa took her clothes and Adrian's to her room before she arranged for their sleeping rooms.

As they busy chatting, Ray came in.

He greeted every one and sat close to Lisa, all this time looking at Adrian.

"Bro,this is Adrian my boyfriend, the one I was telling you about, he'll be spending some time with us before we head back to Nairobi, babe meet my elder brother and our first born"

"It's nice to finally meet you Adrian, Lisa has been talking non stop about you" he said as he shook his hand and gave him a brotherly hug.

"All good I guess?" He asked jokingly.

"Of course she's over head in love with you, what do you expect?" Roy chirped in and Lisa gave him a death glare.

"I'm sorry sis but I was just telling you the truth" he said as he chuckled

"I know you ain't sorry, look at you" Lisa said and everyone laughed.

They continued chatting for a while, as Lisa helped Maria in the kitchen.

"Adrian", Ray started

"I know you make my sister happy and I want you to do that for me,she has been through a lot and I wouldn't want any other person to make her sad, I want you to assure me that you'll need hurt her and you'll always make her happy, if I had the chance I'd make her stay home forever so I watch her and take care of her,but then she's a grown up and is bound to find her happiness, and that happiness is in you, I personally like you for her, and I wouldn't want to meddle myself in your relationship, so please keep my sister safe and make her happy that's the only thing I'm requesting from you"

All along everyone was listening,the message got Lisa almost crying, her brother really cared for her.

"Trust me Ray, I wouldn't anything to hurt her, I love her and she's my priority, I promise to make her happy and care for her, she's my jewel which I wouldn't want to loose , so trust me on that"

"And by the way, I didn't know what I'd get you guys but I bought something small for you just an appreciation for everything you've done for Lisa and accepting me in your family"

He got out his presents and gave to each of them. He had got Ray a nice pair of suit and some official shoes, he got Roy a basketball Jersey, a pair of designers shoes and a PS4 pro, he got her grandmother a dress and some shoes they all thanked him and appreciated his efforts.

"By the way Roy I almost forgot ,I brought you my laptop and my phone since I got new ones"

"Ooh my God Lisa, I so much love you,I'll be busy from today" he said as he gave her a tight hug, the phone was till new, she had bought it when she joined her second year, Huawei pro

"You're welcome, little brother"

Just then,the door bell rang and everyone looked at each other.

"Are you expecting someone?" Her grandmother asked

"No?" Lisa said and Roy offered to go check.

"No you sit here let me go and check" Ray offered
