It was a day after Lisa got back home, everything was fine and her bond with her mom was growing more rampant. Her grandma and her mom were getting along very well. Maria was given a few weeks to go and enjoy with her family so they were just the three of them since Ray had traveled to Nairobi to look for a house they'd move in immediately after new year celebrations.

It was on 31st of December and they were all waiting for the new year celebrations. in fact everyone was anxiously waiting to welcome it in styles,the whole country to be specific.

Lisa had helped her mom to prepare dinner and with the help of their grandma they made some chapatis, mandazi and many other foodstuffs,she invited her other friends over including Lydia.

They we seated outside on their balcony as they made stories waiting for the clock to tick to 1st January,the mood was jubilant and happy, every one was excited about the celebrations.

Immediately it reached 12AM they shouted at the top of their voices as they welcomed the new year in style. The whole estate and the whole town was full of voices and sounds of the blowing up of horns fireworks and all sorts of excitement and that's how they all got to welcome the new year. The rest of the night was spend with some making stories till morning while some chose to sleep on the couches .

He following morning they woke up and prepared themselves to go to church so immediately after breakfast they all got into their mothers car and drove off to church which was a fifteen minutes drive from their estate, they attended the first mass and got home early at about noon to prepare for lunch. Lydia also joined them.

After lunch their mom took them out for swimming at seasons hotel, grandma also accompanied them but they sat at the far end with Kate making stories and catching up on the list times they were not together.

On the other end Lisa and Lydia were really enjoying their time in the swimming pool they took a lot of pics and send them on the group which they had formed,it only had four participants, Adrian, Aiden, Lydia and Lisa.

Immediately the pics were delivered Adrian video called her

"Hey babe?"

"Hey" Lisa answered as she made to sit on the furthest end of the swimming pool

"I can see you guys are enjoying yourselves, when I'm I going to see you? You know I miss you"

" I miss you too babe and it all depends if Ray finds a house he's in Nairobi right now"

"Wait are you guys like moving out? You coming to stay in Nairobi?" Adrian was super excited about the whole idea of then moving to Nairobi

"Yes of course what do you think about this whole idea?" Lisa asked him and he smiled

"What do you think? Of course I'm happy we'll be seeing each other like every time"

"Of course I knew you'd say that anyway we hoping he finds one soon"

"Good but then on of our neighbors moved in to Florida in USA and he's selling his house because he's moving out for good might you guys be interested?"

"Wow that's some good news you know how house hunting can be a problem sometimes let me ask mom if she's comfortable with that then I'll give you the feedback"

" Sure I'll be waiting bye" Adrian said and blew some kisses to her.

Lisa couldn't hold back her excitement,she literally ran to where her mom and grandma were to give then the good news

"Mom you won't believe this!" She said as she sat beside her mother

"What is it that I won't believe?" She asked as her brows furrowed in confusion

"Adrian just told me that there's a house for sale in their estate, on of their neighbors us moving out for good to Florida and he's selling the mansion with everything in it"

"Wow that's great,where exactly do they stay?" Kate asked looking interested

"In Karen mom, ask Ray to go look for it"

"I know why you insisting my dear" her mom said and she winked mischievously at her

" No mom we can't just let this opportunity go,who knows maybe he might be selling it at a throw away price since he's in a hurry to get to USA"

"You're right I'll give Ray a call"

"Yeah now you talking, I love you mom" she said as she gave her mom a side hug and a peck on her cheeks

"I love you too princess"

Lisa got back to the swimming pool and joined the rear of her friends. Kate called Ray and after a few minutes of talking and agreeing they both settled for the offer and Ray called Adrian for confirmation who then contacted his neighbour and linked them up.

After a few signing up of the property papers and a few other requirements, Ray finally bought the house using some of their savings and the money they got from selling their house in kisumu. Lisa couldn't hold back her excitement. She was going to be Adrian's neighbour but the worst part of it was that she was going to miss her long time friend Lydia.

The day they traveled to Nairobi Lydia literally cried and Lisa too they hugged for a while as they sobbed but it was time to go and there's nothing they could do about, Lisa promised to visit her and also invited her to their place.

They were driving in their mom's Jeep and since Lisa also knew how to drive and had a driving license they exchanged with their mom halfway the journey. The drive was long but they finally got to Nairobi in the evening,they drove towards their house and they found Ray and Adrian's family already waiting for them. Auntie Stephanie was still around and immediately she saw Kate,she literally ran like a teenager to go and hug her.

"Ooh my God Kate look at you,I can't believe this is you again after all these years"

"I missed you Steph God it's been like forever since I last saw you guys, where's Tina?" She was sobbing silently it was such an emotional time for both of them

"Hey Kate I'm here I can't believe this is you again after all these years" Tina, Adrian's mom said as she embraced her in a tight hug

Lisa and Adrian couldn't hold back their excitement,as they mothers were busy catching up on their lost times,the two love birds were already in the house, Adrian helped her carry her suitcase upstairs as Ray carried his grandma's suitcase and Roy helped carry his mom's.

Lisa chose her bedroom upstairs it was the second room on her right from the staircase,Adrian helped her arrange her clothes in the her closet since the bed was already made with her favorite color pink and white bedsheets, they were soon making out on her bed as Roy approached her room.

"You guys should get a room already' Roy sneered

"This is my room we already got ourselves one" Lisa and answered and they both laughed

"What do you want little brother?" Lisa asked mockingly

"Mom is calling you downstairs hurry up"

"Okay we're coming" Lisa answered and they both walked downstairs with their hands entangled to go meet her mom.
