Fire Andrew and I ran through the forest, not caring for the sound our footsteps made as we moved. I was gasping for air in the cold night as my heart pumped inside my chest and it felt as though it was going to blow. My mind replayed all that we had seen in the tunnels and my blood went cold as I thought about what that meant besides that Andrew had been right, the headmistress was indeed a monster. Andrew slowed down his pace to run next to me but he didn't say anything as we moved. I could see his worried gaze on me though. And I knew there was something circling in his mind. Something different that wasn't directly related to the tunnels.  It wasn't long until we reached the end of the forest and I let myself take in deep breaths to calm my racing heart.
