We woke after dawn when the sun was finally high enough to break up the shadows of the forest. Without clocks or phones, it was hard to really tell what time it was. My stomach grumbling told me it was breakfast time, at the very least. Hati nuzzled my ear.
‘Let’s go hunt something to eat, then you can teach me how to change into a human. I’m sure you would like to get home to make up with your family. Perhaps you can explain more about how werewolves work. I have seen very few since I started living on Earth.
