Chapter 7 Free This Afternoon?

1267 Words
Simon was aghast at how differently he was treated when he was poor versus when he was rich. It was incredible how hard a woman would hit on him just because he had money. That said, he did not hate this feeling. Dixie Rhodes was a pretty woman, and curvy too. This was the first time a woman like her had hit on him. It was a novel and delightful experience. Since she had taken the initiative to get it on with him, he had no reason to refuse. He gave in to her and enjoyed the feeling she was giving him. Toward the end, he even took the initiative. He wrapped his arm around her waist to spice things up, only to have her push him away and say, "We still have class. Let's go out in the afternoon?" Staring into her foxy eyes, he found himself too weak to resist her charms. He was, after all, just a pure-hearted young man. However, he knew not to act too eager. He had to act befitting his status as a scion and protect his reputation. He feigned indifference and replied, "Let's see. I'm not sure if I have the time." Dixie panicked so hard that she tried to threaten him. "No way, you have to go out with me later! If you don't, I'm going tell everyone that you kissed me in the washroom!" "What the hell? Dixie, are you kidding me? You were the one who kissed me," he replied helplessly. "I don't care! You kissed me, and that's a fact!" Simon was about to protest when the bell rang. "Time for class." "Let's go. We will sit together," Dixie said, grabbing his hand. "Hey, stop it. Curb your enthusiasm. This doesn't look good." He shrugged off her hand. "Fine. I will leave first. See you after class," Dixie said, giving him no room to protest. She then left the washroom ahead of him. Simon did not dare to leave the washroom together with her. He waited for a bit before rushing out and running back to the lecture hall. The class soon ended. Simon walked out of the lecture hall and, sure enough, Dixie chased after him. She hugged his arm and said warmly, "Let's go, Simon." "Where are we going?" he asked with a look of bewilderment. "Where do you wanna go?" she said, with a look of shyness. "Me? I'm going to get some clothes," he replied. Dixie looked at him from top to bottom. "Yeah, it's high time that you change your style! Your appearance doesn't match up to your status anymore. Come on! I will be your stylist!" This idea appealed to Simon, so he said, "Sure, let's go." They walked out of the campus and found Katya waiting outside. Katya was admittedly a beautiful woman. Her foreign looks made her a conspicuous figure standing outside the campus gate. Her alluring figure was a bonus too. Seeing him and Dixie, Katya walked up to them. "Mr. Floyd, who is this?" "My classmate. We're going shopping," he replied. "Classmate?" Katya sized up Dixie with a critical look. "Mr. Floyd, your status is different now. You can't just let anyone approach you." This annoyed Dixie, and she retorted, "Hey, you foreign girl, what are you saying? Watch your mouth! You're in Carran now!" "I don't care about that; all I know is that I'm Mr. Floyd's butler and I'm responsible for all his needs. I can't let shady women with ulterior motives approach him," Katya said coldly. "You..." Dixie was so pissed off that she was about to attack Katya but a sharp-eyed Simon immediately pulled the two women apart. "That's enough. No more arguing. Katya, don't worry. Dixie is my classmate," he said. "Please send us to the mall." Since her master had said as much, Katya said, "All right. Let's go." Dixie followed Simon and entered the Bentley Continental GT. When she got inside, she felt both cozy and cool. She had once again experienced how good it was to be rich and her determination became firmer. With Katya helming the wheel, Simon and Dixie swiftly arrived at the best mall in the city. "Katya, why don't you wait for us here? I will go with Dixie," Simon suggested. He did not want to see any more conflict between the two women. Katya was unhappy but she knew that Simon was her superior. If she insisted on bending him to her will and ended up upsetting him, her good days would be over. So, she agreed with his suggestion. This made Dixie feel pretty smug. Before she got out of the car, she even glanced at Katya. Simon pulled Dixie into the mall. Once inside, he felt like he had triumphed. In the past, he would never have dared to think about such places, much less step inside them. Never mind these places. He used to spend each day pinching pennies for fear of exceeding his budget. Things were different now. He could come here whenever he wanted and buy whatever he wanted. He no longer had to worry about the price tag of anything inside this mall. "Dixie, get whatever you want. It's my treat!" he said, feeling a burst of generosity. It felt nice to help people, after all. "Really?" This was precisely why Dixie had followed him to the mall. She was over the moon when she heard his words. She had been worried that he would not buy her anything but surprisingly, he offered on his initiative. "Of course. What's wrong? Are you worried that I can't afford it?" Simon asked. "No way. I've seen how cool you were yesterday. I don't doubt you at all," Dixie replied. "All right then. Let's get going." Simon walked toward the shops and Dixie immediately followed after him, holding his arm. He did not shrug her off this time. After all, no proper scion would go without a woman. He did not care which woman he was with, as long as she was pretty and curvy enough. The consequences could come later after she accompanied him on this shopping trip. Besides, he had enough money to make her happily do so. But before they could enter one of the clothing boutiques, they heard a familiar voice. "Take it off! We've broken up now!" Wasn't that Paul's voice? The two of them turned toward the direction of the voice and found Paul and Heidi inside the jewelry shop next door. Paul was trying to take off Heidi's jewelry and Heidi was looking upset. From the look of it, they looked like they were on the verge of a fight. "Paul Foster, you freaking miser! You have really opened my eyes! I have been dating you for so long! But you broke up with me, and even tried to take my jewelry back for a refund! You're such an asshole!" Heidi shouted, fighting back her ex-boyfriend, refusing to let him take off her jewelry. "Shut up! Don't you know how much I have spent on you? You two-faced b*tch! You think that I don't know that you're with me for my money? Now that Floyd is rich, you want to go back to him! Do you think I don't know that? Go on then! I'm sick of you anyway! I'm dumping you before you can dump me! But before that, take the jewelry off!" Paul continued to reach for the jewelry. Simon entered the jewelry shop and said, "Oh look, what do we have here? It's you two. Don't you feel embarrassed?"
