Forced to Marry the Billionaire

CHAPTER 3

It took an hour for all of us to get ready completely and at the same time, we helped each other get ready as well. Getting into a gown is not that easy as it seems. None of us wasted a second and immediately got dressed up and done with makeup. But ever the less, here we are all good to go. Right about now, we were all patiently waiting for someone to come here and pick us up. At first, we didn't know that someone was personally coming here to pick us up but Mia eventually told us that her dad was sending someone to take us to the location and so now we wait.

We all were pretty excited for today and that was because all of this was very new to all of us. The experience for most of us was also new. I cannot wait for it either. Right now we were just sitting around playing UNO, as Savannah continued to win her fourth game.

"You have got to be kidding me," Vic said throwing her cards on the bed.

"I win again," Savannah said in her tiny voice abut with full excitement.

"I don't wanna play anymore," Vic said back away from all of us. Drama Queen I thought to myself as well all laugh at her reaction. Immediately out of nowhere Mia's phone suddenly rings and she picks the call up.

"Yeah, yep." She said and hangs up the call.

"Okay guys, Jacob is here and he is waiting for us," Mia said immediately getting off of the bed, while we all do the same thing as well and instantly fix our dresses. Mia, on the other hand, started walking towards the door and all of us follow up right behind her.

"Come on, let's go, let's go," Mia said rushing out and forcing us.

"We are right behind you moron," Vic said as we rushed right behind her.

"Who is Jacob by the way?." Savanna asked.

"He is dad's bodyguard and he's cool, trust me. Mia said

"But also really overprotective. You guys will love him." She said sounding even more excited.

We reached the college parking lot and the very first thing we notice is a very beautiful car, an SUV standing there waiting for us.

"Is that us?." I ask Mia.

"Yes, that one," Mia said back nodding her head. We immediately reached her SUV which was pitch black and looked amazing. And right beside it was a man who was holding the door open for us.

"JACOB," Mia screams his name, making him smile at her reaction. Instantly she ran towards him and jumped on him. He was very happy to see her too.

"Happy birthday Mia." He said giving her a small smile.

"Thank you, Jacob." She said excitedly.

"Did you see how they have decorated the place?." She asked him hoping to get some info.

"Not telling you. Get in." He said immediately making her grumpy.

"Thought you were on my side." She said, even sounding grumpy.

He smiled at her once more time and at her reaction and slowly turned to look at us.

"Jacob, these are my best friends Anna, Savannah, and Victoria." She said and he greeted us all nicely.

"It's nice to meet you, girls.." He said smiling at us, while we did the same.

"Okay then, shall we leave?." He asked us and to that question, we immediately nod our heads. He immediately helped all of us into the car and we finally left for the Ball. The whole ride was quite interesting, Mia was telling us about all the things we could do there, she even wanted to show us her room. She was so happy and excited about all of this. Mia at the same time wanted to introduce me to some of her cousins and people she liked a lot.

It was a surprise to see her like this and that was because Mia was not like this 2 years ago. Mia was always sad all the time and was not so expressive. She actually opened up to savanna first and then to the rest of us.

Right after an hour, we reached Mia's "mansion". Her house was so beautiful and breathtaking really. It was a modern sort of house but extremely large and wide. And it was surrounded by a beautiful garden on each side of it. At the same time, it was decorated so well and in a fairy tale theme.

"Damn." I was already loving it so much.

Jacob dropped us right in front of the house and we immediately got out of it and started to make our way towards the main door. Mia without wasting a single second knotted on the door and the door slowly opened for us.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIA."

The whole crowd yelled at the same time. 

We looked at Mia, the happy Mia.

The whole evening was amazing. Mr. Black introduced us to his colleagues and their kids and I must say some of them were really nice while some were mean and bitchy. Somewhere very charming and some just plain assholes, who just wants to get with me and my girls.

So we met a lot of people, lots of interesting people I must say.

"Girls come on let's go dance," Mia said, and immediately without thinking a lot about it, all of us rushed to the dance floor and danced our ass off.

"This is so awesome," Savanna yelled.

"Can you believe how many hot guys are here, these guys are so cute."

Mia said in my ear making me giggle and nodded at her. We all danced to our heart's content until we got all sweaty.

"Guys I think I am gonna go re-do my makeup. I will come back to the table okay."

They nodded their heads and went back to dance, while I made my way towards the bathroom. I immediately did my business and my makeup all because I was literary covered in sweat. I made my way to my table but before I could reach the table someone held my hand and stopped me.

"Hey."

Someone said from behind me and I turned around to look at who it was. It was Mia's brother Xavier. he looked extremely hot and handsome. I mean charming in his sharp suit and with a slight smile on his face. He was adorable and hot. Black family genes are killing it here. I thought to myself.

"You must be Anna?." He said and I nodded at him.

"I am Anna," I said back feeling a little shy. Why I'm I feeling really shy right now?. I have never been this shy before.

"And you must Xavier, Mia talks a lot about you."

I said to him and he smirked at me and said.

"I hope it's all good things." We both laughed. Charming and funny I like this.

"Trust me, all interesting things." I continued and he smiled genuinely.

"Mia has told me a lot of things about you guys as well, especially you, her best friend. "

"Really ?." I asked him surprised.

He nodded his head and held his hand out smiling at me and said.

"Can I have this dance with you?. "

I have never danced with anyone before, this was a first. But yet I gave him my hand and Xavier led me to the dance floor. The music was slow, this piece was really beautiful. He looked down at me and smiled and so did I. We were having a nice time, we were laughing, making small jokes and he was making me dance which was so funny for me. I looked at Xavier's parents just to see there was a very cute smile on their faces. They were looking right at us and smiling. Which made me blush, but then I looked right behind his shoulder. Just to see someone looking at me or someone staring at me. I must say, I have never seen some like him before.

I mean, he just took my breath away, I got to see a lot of beautiful men. But for him, he was breathtaking. I can't take my eyes off of him, but he was staring at me. His glare was going through my soul, I decided to take my eyes away from him and look right at Xavier

But I wanted to look back at him again. I looked behind Xavier's to see him again, but he was gone. I searched for him around but he wasn't there and immediately the song we were dancing on end.

"Thank you so much for asking me to dance with you. I have never done this before."

I said being honest with him

"It was an honor to dance with you, Anna." He said and instantly led me back to my table, help me in my seat. He then left to talk to his father.

This was a nice night, I had an awesome time and I guess so did the girls as well.

It was 1 o'clock now, Mia's birthday was done and she had such a great time. So did we all. I know that because she couldn't stop talking about it. Our conversation was interrupted when my phone rang and it was my dad. I pick the call and all I heard was loud beeping, I couldn't hear him. I told him to wait for a minute and told my friends I will be on the balcony and immediately made my way there.

I opened the balcony door and walked out and the first thing I felt was the fresh air. I could see the garden in front of the balcony. Damn this place is beautiful.

"Hello?." I hear dad talk on the other side.

"Hey dad, can you hear me now?."

"Oh yes sweetie, I can. How was your birthday?. Did she like gifts?."

"Yes, she said she loved my gift and she loved your gift too." He signed, relaxed.

"The only person I know my gift work on is you, Emma, and Angel."

He said letting out a breath as I giggled at him. Emma and Angel are two new members of my family. My dad got married after one year of me in college. He was in a relationship with someone and I didn't know back then. Dad was so scared to tell me.

He thought I would hate him for loving someone other than mom. I mean I would never hate my dad. I wanted him to find love. I wanted him to find someone to live with for the rest of his life. Emma is an amazing person and I happen to like her a lot. And she had a daughter and that means now I have a sister. Dream come true. I have always wanted a big family and now I have it, what more can I ask for.

Emma was so scared to meet me for the first time. I could see my dad was so in love with her. And I immediately loved her 8 months old daughter Angel. She is my baby and I can wait to spend time with her.

"Okay then, I'll have to call you later okay? I have to go and I love you." I said to him.

"I love you too baby and Angels say she loves you too."

He said and right on time, I heard Angel near the phone. Blabbing something like she always did.

"Tell her I love you too," I said.

I am pretty sure she cannot understand me, but it is worth it. I cut the call and immediately sat down on one of the chairs. Taking off my heels because they were killing me.

I heard someone open the balcony door from behind and I turned around to see who it was. And I was shocked to see it was him. It was the man I can't take my eyes off.

I was just looking at him and nowhere else but what made me feel uneasy was that he was looking at me but looking at me pissed, really pissed........................
