Regina’s pov
I was filled with nervous excitement when I woke up, we were due to go and collect Elaina after lunch, and I was hoping that we would have the results by then. Liana was also excited for us and to meet her new granddaughter.
We had told Liana and Louis what was going on last night. They were happy to keep it quiet until we knew if she was Sophia’s. It may be selfish, but I also wanted the adoption to go through before they found out, as I didn’t want someone taking her from us.
I know everyone has learned a lesson from what happened with me and Sophia, but I can not bring myself to fully trust them yet. I couldn’t bear the thought of them thinking that because she is Sophia’s child, she would be like her.
