Parker’s POV
The evening was cold, but that’s to be expected. I had Caleb in his jacket already. We were waiting to see Caden’s headlights in the driveway. He was still on the phone with us the whole way here, and our conversation was light and fun. I caught myself laughing a lot more than I have in a long time. I think I had been hoping that I could stay here without being found until they picked Nolan up, but then he hired an Investigator.
