Caden’s POV
Cassidy was up early Sunday morning, way earlier than she normally gets up. I already knew that she was lying in wait for us. We always left for the park before she woke up. I knew the moment I saw her what she was planning to do.
“Morning, Caleb. I was thinking that I could go to the park with you and your Dad today,” she suggested, like she had suddenly thought of it.
“We’re not going to the park,” Caleb replied.
It was raining, and last night during his bathtime I had told him what the plan was for the day. I didn’t want to tell him earlier because I didn’t want Cassidy to try to get information from Caleb again. My parents watched the interaction between us before my mother interjected.
“They have plans, Cassidy. I suggest you make your own,” our mother
