Lara When I awoke, I was a little disoriented. I was under a shrub, Heidi was pressed up against my side, and for a moment I couldn’t remember what I was doing there. When everything from the night before came flooding back, I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand up. “We need to get moving. We need to see what’s happening with the Omegas from last night,” Phoenix said, urging me to get a move on. “Yeah, I know,” I agreed. I stood up and stretched. Heidi woke up, and looking at me, she asked, “What’s going on, Lara?” “We need to go and find out what is happening with the Omegas that were rounded up last night,” I replied.
