I was in my bedroom waiting for Lara to get home. I was curious as to why Tiffany was here. Everyone knew she was the mate of the Beta. She was forever lording her position within the pack over everybody. She expected to be pampered and treated like a princess or a queen, yet she was loathed beyond all comprehension. No one liked her. As far as everyone in the pack was concerned, she had done nothing to earn any respect. She had done nothing to bring about the desire for the lower ranking pack members to treat her with any regard or respect.
