Toxic Smile

Upon working out of Mama Ben's territory after settling everything and knowing that there was hope for Lucien, Auriane could finally feel relieved. Apart from Nora, Auriane felt that the person she owed the most was Lucien and Catherine his little sister.
She hadn't met this little sister of his in her past life, but she saw how much Lucien gazed at her picture every night with heart ache and depression. He felt extremely guilty towards Catherine and her mother. His mother had given her life and happiness in order to give him a better future, leaving behind her only blood,yet she died due to hardship.
In this life Catherine was saved, so she was relieved, but she couldn't exhale completely unless Lucien's life turned out different from his past life. But she gussed she had deviated his ill fate the moment she had saved Catherine's life and by now she guessed he must have received the compensation for capturing those scums.
However, this was merely the beginning, there was more trouble to be settled in the future, but she wasn't worried. Having lived for two lifetimes, few years worth of memories, she definitely wouldn't stand on ceremony to cheat.
After her past experience, watching the dirty and cruel side of life, Auriane didn't consider herself a saint. She would compensate anyone who was good to her kindly and pay 'others' what they 'deserved, handsomely'.
Thinking about the others being mentioned, Auriane eyes turned frosty cold, as cold as the cold mountains of Antarctica.
It was almost as if a cold fog had sorrounded her at that moment.
After her rebirth she had been quite good in controlling her emotions, but now that she was working on the street all by herself, she didn't conceal the frosty hatred in her eyes, causing the temperature to drop drastically with step she took.
It didn't even change the moment she stood in front of the White's residence.If her gaze could kill at that moment, then the residence would probably have been torn down by her cold gaze.
However, she knew when to stop and maintain a calm composure of herself. As soon as she stepped foot in the house, she was back to normal, but when she placed a leg on the first step. A familiar voice called out from behind, causing her to pause on her step with an obvious displeasure.
Her hand that held unto the hand railing immediately increase in its grip, holding tightly unto the hand railing, Auriane took a deep breath and turned towards the familiar voice, or rather. It was more likable to call her, a lifetime enemy.
Turning her back to face the girl with a dainty face, her short hair that reached her back was lying loosely on her back, a straight bang covering her forehead. The headband on her head gave her an innocent allure and her sweet smile was attention catching, causing one's heart string to waver.
Such a sweet innocent smile had deceived her so many times in her past life. But she wouldn't be blamed, she couldn't quite count the number of people who had actually fallen for that sweet angelic smile.
It was a smile that caused one to be addicted, but the more one got addicted to it, the more poisson toxic one's heart got to swallow. Such an alluring smile, was rather toxic, a toxic smile.
Merely gazing at her, Auriane didn't give a reply neither did she hide her indifference towards Angel.
"Sister, you're finally back?"
Angel White said with a rather calm and sincere expression, her smile not hiding her care and affection. She looked towards Auriane with a doting expression and in her hands she held a platter of fruits, well cut and decorated.
With the platter of fruits in her hand, Angel happily strode towards Auriane, with her never ending smiling face. Her every step towards Auriane was suave and carried a demure lady's aura.
"Sister, you came back so late, it really got me worried."
"Is that so, why do I feel that your care is... hypocritical?"
Auriane questioned coldly, not even giving Angel any face as she gazed at her calmly.
And though Angel felt that Auriane's attitude towards her had changed drastically, she still maintained her polite smile.
It was fine as long as Auriane was still useful to her, she had a lot of patience and she she definitely wouldn't lost her temper.
"Sister, why..what do you mean?" Angel White asked innocently, blinking at Auriane with her violet eyes, seeming lost and stunned.
Auriane sneered inwardly, not saying anything at all, if Angel had patience,she too had a lot of patience as well. If that wasn't the case, with the type of capabilities she had, poissoning the whole family wouldn't be a problem for her.
Howeverower, that was too much a light punishment, she didn't want these people to die so easily. She wanted to advance in life, make them watch her step by step above them. She wanted to use them as a stool and trample on their dignity, she wanted to see those who caused harm to her, live their lives worst than dogs.
So she had a lot of patience.
"Nothing, I just feel that you should smile less, such a smile looks to forceful on you."
Angel White stiffened, yet she still managed maintained her smile. However, no one could see the hand on her side that had been clenched into a tight fist.
"Sister is joking right?"
After all, she was most confident about her smile, a smile that had conquered hearts.
She had two weapons, one was her tears and the other was her smile of which she was absolutely confident of it being flawless. Acting pitiful with tears was her fort, while her smile could be said to be enchanting and flawless.
Hearing Auriane talk about her flawless smile as forceful and hypocritical, she almost lost composure of herself, luckily she always had a good composure of herself. So she was able to maintain a polite smile and act unaffected in front of Auriane, earnestly portraying a caring sister's affection.
"If I'm joking, then are you acting?"
Angel White stiffened, this time she didn't maintain a polite smile, but gazed at Auriane with a pained and unbelievable expression.
Angel's plump lips parted to speak, but before she could voice out her thoughts, she was cut off by a hysterical laughter from behind.
Both she and Auriane turned around to look at the direction of the sudden laughter, catching a slim figure laughing out loud with misty eyes.
Looking at the person who was laughing with misty eyes, Auriane frown and pursed her lips.
"If I'm joking, then are you acting? This is really the best thing I've ever heard in my life."
Unable to conceal her displeasure at the person laughing hysterically, Angel also frowned.
