Chapter 12/ Things will get better...

    I go back to the kitchen where the food has been delivered. I set it out on the table along with the place settings. I then walk back to the office and lean in and tell Alpha dinner is ready. He thanks me and I head to Jasper’s room and tell him to wash up for dinner.

    I walk back to the dining room and sit down. The guys join at the same time. We eat in silence. I like it and no one tries to talk about anything that has happened. Or about what will happen tomorrow it’s just peaceful silence. I finish and take my plate and glass to the sink.

    I go back to the guys with a tray of cookies. I set them in front of them and take their plates. They dig in talking about best cookies ever through full mouths. I smile.

    When I go back to the kitchen, I begin washing the dishes. Jasper walks in with an empty cookie tray smiling and shrugging his shoulders, with his dad right behind him with their glasses. They place them in the sink and thank me for the cookies and leave me to wash. Jasper comes back and asks to help. I wash, he dries.

    We laugh about times when were little and this was a punishment. When we are finished, I call down to have the leftover food removed.

    “I’m gonna go change in to pj’s and get the movie set up.” He says as he smiles as big as he can.

    “Ok. I’m going to change and then make us some hot chocolate.”

    “Oooooh that sounds great.” He says running out of the kitchen.

    I walk into my room and change into my black leggings and a pink camisole and my oversized sweater. I grab my favorite purple fuzzy blanket and head to the living room. I drop my blanket in the living room with Jasper and head to the kitchen. I’m reaching up to get the coco off the top shelf and feel eyes on me. I turn to see Alpha.

    “Need a hand?” He says with a laugh at my struggles.

    “Yes please.”

    I smile and move out of his way. He hands me the coco, goes to the fridge get a water and heads out of the kitchen. I grab to mugs, mix up our amazing hot chocolate, add the whipped cream, and head to the living room. Jasper has the movie ready to go. He cozies up on the couch and I lounge on the love seat.

    Jasper starts the movie, and the laughs start to roll. I’m not sure when but at some point, I fall sleep. I’m awake to someone carrying me to bed. I look up and see the alpha. I snuggle into his chest. He gets to my room and pulls my covers back and lays me in my bed. He covers me up and kisses my forehead.

    “Sleep well pretty girl. Tomorrow will be a hard day.” He says as walks to the door and walks out, closing it behind him.

Ronan POV

    Since Graci called and begged to move onto the floor I’ve had hope to make her mine. She made my favorite cookies, she made them for my son, but still. I like seeing her try so hard to be strong. Just makes me want her more.

    If Kieran had been old enough to mate. It might have killed her that he died. She is so sweet and perfect, and untouched. She has been extra sexually frustrated due to them never taking their relationship to the next level. One time I overheard her tell Bethany that, to which Bethany told her she just need to buy a vibrator until he caves. Graci blushed and laughed but I have wondered if she bought one.

    As I’m pondering that I walk to the kitchen for a water. I see Graci trying to reach the coco. She is on her tip toes and her sweater has come up over her butt. Allowing those leggings to show me that perfectly round ass. I start thinking about grabbing onto it when she sees me. I ask if she wants help, to which she reply’s yes.

    I hand her the coco and I grab my water and leave the kitchen. I need a to go for a run. I stop by Bethany’s house for some relief. When I get back to the house, I hear Graci and Jasper laughing at their favorite movie from when they were kids. I go to my room to take much needed shower.

    I wash up and put my pj pants on and I was almost ready to hit the hay when I noticed the sound was off in the living room. I went to check on Jasper and found Graci asleep on the love seat.

     I picked her up and took her to her room. On the way she snuggles into my bare chest and I knew I want this girl. Even if she isn’t my mate my want for her grows every day. I’m so glad she is here. After I tucker her in, I kiss her on her forehead and leave.

    Now here I am in the shower again trying get rid of my stiffened member. Dreaming of Graci’s perfect little mouth on my favorite part of my body.

    Graci comes into my room at 5:30 to wake me up for morning training. I groggily roll over to see her beautiful face smiling at me. She tells me I need to be up and out the door so she can make the bed and get the laundry started.

     I stand up to find my pants extremely tight in a certain area. I got to the closet and change. I come back out the bed is made and Graci is gone. I need to get to the training field. When I get the Delta Ben and his wife are already there.

    “How is Graci?” Jovi asks.

    “Let him stretch babe.” Delta Ben tells his wife.

    “My apologies Alpha Ronan I’m just worried about my little girl.” She says in tears.

    “Graci is fine. She is trying to stay strong. I’m sure today will be the hardest on her. You will be there for her, won’t you?” I ask with a pain in my chest for my pretty girl.

    “Of course, we will be there. We lost more than just Graci’s mate that day. Some good warriors fell that day.” Delta Ben states with teary eyes.

    He turns and walks to the center of the training circle and I see Jasper walking up with Kevin. Delta Ben begins the train session for the day after a few more warriors stroll in.

    We train hard, we needed it. All the rouges were defeated and killed, but not without our own casualties. As I walk back to the house, I think about the funeral that the pack will attend today. The pyres are all built and ready to send our packmates to the moon Goddess.

    The rouge bodies are buried outside the pack boundary. They do not deserve the burial right of pack members. I’m almost to the top of the stairs and hear Bethany flipping out at the door because her card and code aren’t working. Goddess help me.
