Grandpa had me in his office for the rest of the day, reviewing blueprints and ensuring we were happy with the final look. I am not an engineer, so I can't make those changes but can do the aesthetics. The booth style was all mine to make, and with the agreement to place them outside the clubs, which made sense, all that was left to do was make the inside of the large container look welcoming, comfortable, and exactly like a recording studio.
The idea was to make the recording as clean and straightforward as possible. Even the mixing board was special, with simple, easy-to-follow instructions on how to use it. It was almost as good as getting a professional studio expert to record your music.
