Justin collapsed down in a heap on the sofa, exhausted. He had just taken Ewan home to Jenny. Last night was a little rough. Ewan wouldn’t settle, no matter what we did, obviously missing his mummy. Justin had a breakdown at three in the morning, convinced it was all his fault Ewan would settle and how he was going to be a terrible father. I managed to calm him down, but I think with everything that happened, we both have even more respect for Jenny, who has been doing it on her own. Ewan eventually did calm down and fell asleep at five, but only for a couple of hours.
I head over and sit next to him, resting my hand on his knee, “Are you doing okay, babe?”
“Yes. I am just tired.” He replies and slips his arm around my shoulder.
