Ripped Away And Apart

Kafli 20.

Without thinking I call out but the name that came out of my mouth made me a little confused.

“NOAH!” 

I run towards them but I run past the glass on the ground from my ice cream and of course fall to the ground. They both look at me and I can see the relief in their faces but then a bunch of guards come running in. I am about to look at my feet when I am picked up bridal style by Ghost and I freak out! 

“Let me go what the hell!” 

He looks down at me in his arms, how can he hold me?

“You have hurt your feet so you can not walk or run” he says in a lifeless and calm voice. 

I am about to answer him when I hear the murderous voice I have been dreaming about hearing again. 

“Put her down right now!” 

Max…

Ghost looks up from me to Max but he just looks bored, he then turns around from Max and Noah and starts running deeper into the wing. 

“ANA!” I hear Max and a few other people yell after us. 

This time I shout out his name. 

“MAX!!” 

Ghost just keeps running with me bouncing in his arms, I feel my feet bleed and leave a nice trail behind us so Max and Noah can follow that. He runs to the end of the wing, there is a door that is all window and without hesitation he kicks the window. It breaks like nothing and he jumps out with me in his arms. 

“If you knew of a way out of this place why did we not escape sooner?” I yell out at him angry. 

He does not look down at me, nothing in his face even suggests that he even heard me. He runs for a little while through the meadow but then I hear a loud growl. Ghost stops and turns around and there I see a huge ass black wolf! He brought the wolves? 

Then however from behind I hear another wolf growl not as loud but loud, Ghost does not turn around to look at that wolf but that wolf comes very close to us. The wolf walks past us and then stands in front of us. This wolf is brown but has a few white spots on it, it is not as big as the black one but hell it is bigger than the ones I saw back home. They have wolves as well? Then from behind the big black wolf Noah comes out of the house, he is only wearing shorts and has blood spots all over him. 

“NOAH!!” I call out. 

I want to go to him! Where is Max? He is probably still inside fighting because he cares more about that than me, of course. I move around in Ghosts arms but he does not let me go he just tightens his hold on me. 

“LET ME GO!” I scream. 

With that the big black wolf growls and shows it teeth bursting forth running towards us. The brown one growls too and runs towards it. They clash and start biting and scratching. My eyes are glued on them but then all of a sudden Ghost starts moving to the side. I take my eyes off the wolves and look up at him, he is not looking at the wolves so I look where he is looking. Noah is walking towards us and he looks pisst. He is way way stronger and bigger than Ghost so I want to laugh because Noah will kick his ass. Then Noah is about fifteen steps away from us he stops and locks eyes with me. 

“ANA ARE YOU OKEY?” 

I am about to answer him when out of nowhere a Miss crazy eyes comes from behind Noah grabbing his arm and whipping him to the ground. 

“Noah!” 

He is quick to recover and pull her with him down to the ground and they start to fight. I am about to watch them fight when I hear a bone break and my eyes go to the wolves. I feel myself being drawn to the black wolf, I want him to win and I want to run my hands through his fur. The bone breaking is not from him but the brown wolf that is now limping from one of the front legs. The black wolf shows the other one no mercy and charges again and again drawing its claws over the fur of the other one and leaving long wounds. The fight has been moved outside, there are people fighting all around along with wolves. The sound is horrible, I hear screams and I hear bones break. Noah! I look away from the wolves but thankfully I see Noah and he is winning against that girl that attacked him. Then all of a sudden Ghost puts me slowly down on the ground and I look where he is looking. I know this guy, he is from the house and he trained outside my window. 

“Give me back my Luna” he growls. 

Ghost does not answer him but runs towards him super quick and they start fighting. I am watching them when I feel someone lift up my foot. I look and there is a girl checking out my feet, she starts to pick out some shards of glass and then she even sucked out one. I just stared at her with wide eyes but then she just nods her head and walks up my body. Picking me up like I am nothing she starts running but she does not get that far until someone comes from the side and knocks us down to the ground and I roll on the grass. I scream out in pain because I rolled over my arm a couple of times. I look to see the girl but she is already on her hands and knees, she then jumps forth attacking the person. I sit up in the grass, everyone is fighting and this is my time to run away from this crazy s**t. I take my foot in my lap looking at the damage but it is worse than I thought, I will not get far but I start to pick out more shards of glass. When I am done I look around but then I see a person looking at me, I have not seen this person before and he is covered in blood. Fear fills my body and I feel like this is one of my last breaths and I start to move backwards on the grass but I am so slow. He starts to walk towards me and in a few steps he is standing over me.

“So much trouble over such a weak little human” 

No sound comes from me because I can not move or think. Is he going to kill me? Is that why this is happening? Does Lillian want me dead? Does Max want me dead? My mind is just one big soup, I close my eyes ready for him to just end it all but then I feel someone s***h hot water over me. I open my eyes and the first thing I see is a headless body fall to the ground. I look down and it was not water that splashed on me! I have blood, not all over me but but but but I have blood over me. My eyes widen up and I freak out!

“MAX!” I scream out with everything I have!

I just need him to hold me right now! I don't care anymore, I just need him! 

Then right before my eyes both wolves start to change and in mere seconds now Max is standing where the black wolf was and Lillian is now standing where the brown was. Lillian has some scratches on her body not that deep but still serious but I think her arm is badly broken. There are three scratches on Max and he is standing there naked and angry.

“AAAAHHHHH!!!” I scream and bring my hands up to my face. 

What did I just see? Did I just see Max turn from a wolf to a person and Lillian too! What the hell is this? What the f**k did just happen? Am I sleeping? Is this a dream? I bang my injured arm on my head and that hurt like hell so I know I am not sleeping. Are they werewolves? Then everything snapped into place, Alpha, Mate, human and eating me. I was living among werewolves! The wolves I saw out of my window were people! Noah is a wolf! That girl is a wolf! She could have ripped me to shreds any time! MAX’S DAD WAS A WEREWOLF! No! No! I am losing my mind, that is what is happening! 

“Give her back Lillian! I mean it! You have no right to keep her away from me!” 

Lillian smiles, a little more to one side holding her arm but she never takes her eyes off Max.

“She is not safe with you! And it is my job given to me by the king to keep the Lunas safe and secure” Lillian yells back. 

“She is safer with me than she will ever be here in this place!” Max thunders back.

I see him clench his fists and all the muscles in his arms tense up. I don't care anymore about the fact that they are both naked but are they naked just turned from wolves into humans and now arguing about me?

“Is that why I found her coked out at a  drug dealer's place?” Lillian thunders back. 

I see Max’s face change but I can not read what it changed to. I feel so bad right now, they are fighting about me and I feel like this is all my fault if I would have just stayed home that night nothing would have happened.

“Just give her back to me Lillian, I need her” Max says.

Every cell in my body wants me to hold him, to make him feel better and I want to run to him but of course I can not. 

“Are you even sure she wants to go back to you? I mean she did leave in the first place and I will not let you force her to go back with you” Lillian spits at him. 

Max is not looking at me but then Lillian looks at me with a question on her face. I freeze up! What should I do? Both options sound horrible, stay here and go insane? Go with Max and let him use me along with the other girls he has but what ever I choose I will be around f*****g WEREWOLVES!
