I'm the king of all alphas. I didn't find my mate. I'm already 29.

I gave up the idea of looking for my mate, so I took Evelyn as my girlfriend. For a pack without its luna isn't strong enough to face the enemy.

and I don't know if I can ever find her. Before leaving, I promised Evelyn to take her as my luna, and we would hold the ceremony after I returned.

Although most of my pack members don't like her, she has a bratty attitude, she is beautiful and she knows some fighting skills, so yeah why not?

I stepped out of the elevator and a faint scent of fresh flowers, strawberries and cinnamon hit my nostrils, it was so intoxicating."mate", "mate," mate" my wolf was yelling in my mind.

I breathed the air into my lungs as much as possible," what happened alpha?" my beta asked worriedly. I glanced over my shoulder and they were all looking at me with curiosity." nothing" and paced out of there.

"find our mate you stupid Alpha," Alex yelled, "no, now we have time. I know he is eager to meet our mate, and I have plenty of time to find her if she is from this pack, but we came here for our pack's safety, and that comes first".I snapped but Alex shut me out.

I informed my beta and gamma that we would stay here for one week. They exchanged glances before they looked at me, "but what about the packing business" asked my beta. "Phil will handle everything and inform our shadow warrior's to protect the border and pack the house" "Yes, Alpha", they both said at the same time.

I informed Alpha Isaac about my stay, and he offered to let me stay in the pack house.

It'll be great if I stay there. I can communicate with their elders and I can find my Luna as well.

Lucy

While we were on our way to the gaming zone, my heart was beating so fast that Gini heard and asked with her concerned voice "what's the matter? are you all right?"

"I don't know if I'm feeling uneasy," I said."We can go back OK," she said. I nodded my head in agreement.

We got to the parking area and suddenly a voice came." Hey guys, where are you going." I can tell from this annoying voice that it was Samantha? She is Gini's friend and I don't quite like her. She looks down on other people who are of low rank.

"We are going to Lucy's house, wanna come?" She looked at me distantly. Gini probably noticed that also and said "we are going to study". She doesn't like the idea of studying. "OK then have fun". She turns around and paces out.

"Glad she isn't coming," I said "I'm sorry lucy". Gini apologised with guilt. "Why are you saying sorry? She is the one who looks down on others. Come on let's go", she gave me a small smile. I don't know how a girl like Gini, who is gentle and caring, has become a friend of a bitch.

We pulled out in front of my house. We both got out of the car. We decided to make it a girl's night, so she is going to stay with me tonight. She informed her parents as well.

We stepped in and both were welcomed by a warm smile, and that was my grandma. "Welcome girls, we are going to have pizza tonight" she said, grinning, which made both of us happy.

She is fashionable, like my best friend, and also a fun-loving person.

"Oh grandma, I missed you," I hugged her and she returned the gesture. Gini also joined and said " I miss you miss grandma"

My grandma doesn't live with us, she lives far away from our pack, which is in the middle of the forest. There is a small pack or you could say a group of werewolves live peacefully. She visits us from time to time.

After having the pizza which she ordered for us, we talked our hearts out until we realised it was past midnight. My grandma left us as she was tired from the journey.

"So what now? Are we going to sleep? ``Gini said with a brow raised. ". hell no, it's girls' night, and we don't have school right now." I know from her face my answer makes her happy.

" How far have you gone with Ben?'' I can tell from her excitement.

" I don't know Gini, I have been confused for a few days. I'm struggling with my feelings. Ben is caring and handsome. He was my crush in high school, but I don't feel anything towards him anymore."

She was deep in her thoughts, "gini" she snapped out of her thoughts. She looked at me with a concerned face, which made my eyebrows frown.

"Maybe someone found out that you are his mate and didn't tell you and you can't feel it because you are not 18 yet, and your wolf hasn't woken yet. There is a possibility you know". Hearing her words, I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands.

"I've heard this before, many wolves experience this, but how can he not tell me that I'm his mate, whoever it is? Unless he doesn't want me as his mate?

Hearing my words, Gini's eyes became wider, and all the blood from my face drained at the thought of it.

" I think he is waiting for your 18th birthday to tell you. And if he doesn't want you to be his mate, he must be bold. A mate bond is a sacred thing for werewolves and is a blessing from the moon goddess," she said while gritting her teeth.

I started, " well, no one wants a mate who doesn't have any wolves, and doesn't know how to protect herself."

Gini looked at me with teary eyes. She held both sides of my shoulder and said " listen Lucy, you are a brave girl, and gonna be a strong woman one day, whoever that jerk is going to lose you it's his loss, I love you for who you are and your family loves you as well, and that's what matters the most, understand." I

She is the best girl I know, I thought to myself. I released the breath that I didn't know I was holding and hugged her. " l Love you, gini" she hugged me back before we fell asleep.
