Chapter Two

*Rain's Pov*

I walked into the house and saw my dad's rushing around cleaning everything rapidly. "Uh, Dad? Daddy? What are you doing?" I asked. They looked at me and Dad wiped the sweat off his forehead.

"Trying to get this place clean," they said.

"Okay, um I'm going to head over to Max's now. See you later," I said. They both said they loved me and bye and I walked outside and started walking towards Max's. It's about a thirty minute walk so the bus carrying the people should pass me one the way.

(Johnny's Pov)

We were all on the bus about an half an hour away from the farm. The bus driver wasn't sure if he was close or not.

A girl started screaming, "OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THAT HOT BOY WALKING!" Everyone looked and I saw a gothic looking boy walking with a black backpack on his back. He kind of looks familiar. He waved to the bus driver and smiled. As we passed him all the girls groaned and started calling dibs on him. We pulled into the farm and I saw a lot of horses in the fields. I saw one huge black one and smiled, happy to see they still have Sully. We saw two guys, who I recognized as Rain's parents standing in front of their house. We all knew they were married because are teacher told us. Mrs. Reze got up from her seat and started telling us to please exit the bus in a orderly fashion.

"Look at this place! It looks so boring!" some chick said. Mrs. Reze looked at her.

"Stop it! They were nice enough to let us stay, so be nice back!" she snapped. Everyone nodded and we all got off the bus. David and Gabe smiled at us and we all gathered around them.

"Hello, it's nice to finally meet you," Mrs. Reze said shaking both of their hands.

"It's nice to meet you, too," David said and Gabe nodded.

"So, I suspect you have some rules you need to tell them?" They nodded and turned to us. I saw Gabe look at me before he turned back to the students.

"Yes, we do actually. My name is David and this is Gabe. You can call us by are first names and we just want to tell you all a few rules." We all nodded and he went on. "You're allowed anywhere in the house except my son's room and our room. And no going to the barn or supply and storage shed without our permission. Also, try not to scare the horse. One time we lost one of our horses because she jumped the fence when a boy blew a whistle in her ear. We found her but she's very timid now," he said. We all nodded and he smiled. "Alright, I guess that's it, you can do whatever you like now. Anyone have any questions?" Cherry, or Charise, raised her hand.

"Can we ride the horses?"

"Yes, but we have to do it later. We have to prepare dinner," Gabe said. We nodded and they left. Thank god they didn't recognize me!

(Rain's Pov)

I walked inside Max's house since he told me I could when we started dating. As soon as I stepped inside I heard yelling and. . .moaning? "Oh yeah! Harder!" I got this bad feeling in my gut and slowly walked up stairs.

As soon as I got to his bedroom door I heard Max say, "Oh yeah, you like that?" I opened the door and my heart stopped. There was Max, having sex with another guy on the bed. I felt my eyes fill up with tears and when Max saw me, his eyes went wide.

"How could you?!" I screamed. He quickly pulled out of the guy and started putting his clothes on.

"Wait, Rain, it's not what it looks like!" he said. I laughed bitterly and ran downstairs. He ran after me, screaming for me to let him explain. I ran outside and started running home, Max of course followed me still begging for me to let him explain. As soon as I reached home I had to put my hood up to hide my tear streaked face. And of course there was Max I had to worry about. I saw all these kids just talking outside the house and bit my lip.

"Rain! Just let me talk to you!" he said, following me into my farm. I shook my head and saw all the kids looking at us. I felt my anxiety start to build up in my stomach.

"No! Just go home to your new boyfriend!" I screamed. I saw my dads come running out and they looked at us confused.

"Rain? Max? What are you guys doing here?" they said. I shook my head and ran past them inside the house and Max followed me. I ran up to my room and slammed my door and Max started banging it.

"Let me in!" he yelled.

"No! Why should I you bastard!" I yelled.

"Because!" he said.

"Because why?!" I sobbed.

"Because. . .because I love you!" My heart stopped when he said that. I went over to the door and opened it.

"You love me?" I whispered. His eyes softened and he smiled.

"Yes, I love you so much. Please, I made one mistake, you have to believe me!" he begged. I bit my lip and nodded.

"I. . .I-I love you, too," I said. He smiled and kissed me.

"Thank you for forgiving me! You won't regret this!" he said. I hugged him and he pulled away.

"Now, let's go sit down. That was a lot of running," I said. He nodded and took my hand and led me to my bed. We sat down and he started talking about how sorry he is.
