"Greetings to grand ma...", Louisa paid her rest respect to the old age woman who sat under the gazebo, obviously enjoying the lovely scenery that the Woods territory could provide. By her side was her so called sister, Yasmine Woods who sat opposite her. The table had been filled with pastries and a pot of fragrant tea to accompany the ladies. Everything around there was just perfect, Louisa had to admit it, but it was still unfortunate that its sweet scent from the orchids and lily planted around had been diluted by the strong pungent perfume worn by Yasmine.
'How unfortunate'
She had thought with a silent sigh, but thus, it wasn't the focus of her present attention. She had been standing close further behind the old aged woman for quite some time, but her presence was ignored She was obvious doing it on purpose, probably to cause her to react impulsively or watch the miserable look in her eyes. But what they ignored was that the current Louisa had experienced worst humiliation and her perseverance had long been tested to the brim. If she couldn't endure such a situation with elegance and pride, then her reborn meant an aimless gaol.
Louisa sighed and shot a glance at Yasmine who was purposely avoided her, however, she didn't know why, but she abruptly looked a her. And her eyes caught the dazzling smile shot to her by Louisa. It was confident, though arrogant and extremely prideful, which reminded her of the challenge they made. Now she was anxious about the outcome of the challenge, though for that she had to eliminate the purposeful ignorance.
"Oh, sister, you're finally here...What took you so long, as a young lady of the Woods you shouldn't slack off so often, such manners could be mistaken to impertinence."
Heh, acting with concern, yet pulling the strings to slowly push her down the abyss.
Louisa had to admit this sister of hers was a real white lotus. She looked like a concerned sister from the surface, but in truth to tell, she was purposely meditating the fact that she intentionally kept the old woman waiting.
With such arguments Yasmine was sure Louisa would try to argue her way out, but the further she tried to explain, the more arrogant would the old lady perceive her arguments, no matter if she was in the right. The reason why Yasmine was so confident was just a simple stated fact. The old woman had always despised Louisa, so she found fault with her as long as she tried to haggle with her precious grand daughter.
"Sister is definitely right?"
'What !', Yasmine almost spat out the tea she had just graciously sipped. She couldn't believe that Louisa actually admitted everything without baiting an eye. Besides she looked even too calm for someone who was about to face trouble.
'Just how confident was she?'
Louisa lightly smiled and filled a glass of water for Yasmine who had almost choked in her tea.
"Have some water sister, it would be quite unfortunate if such delicateness led you to a health center. Besides, I still need to learn lot more from sister rather than just the previous doings."
"You...", Yasmine gritted her teeth, but paused in her words and couldn't say any further without causing harm to herself. Everyone in the mansion knew that she was the princess and had always been treated as though. As a member of the Woods, it was expected for the young to follow the examples of the elders. Though she was just five month older than Louisa, she could still consider herself as an elder.
The girl was so cunning with her words and had been able to slip away with her coming trouble with ease. Now how could she blame her late arrival as being impertinent to the old lady. What if she made use of the strict rules, perhaps even the old lady would have to acquiesce due to her own implications. Yasmine has to let go to avoid any future wrongs from her strict and stern grand mother.
"Humph, good that you know how to admit your mistakes. Then I shall not ponder over it, your mother had told me you had another head ache this night due to the fall."
'She knew it.'
Louisa couldn't help but feel more despise for her grand mother who was always trying to find fault at her. She already had a logical reason reason for her late arrival but she said nothing. If Yasmine hadn't fail in her previous attempt to find fault at her, Louisa was sure that this grand mother of hers would still ponder of way to put her at lost gain.
Yet, Louisa could only conceal her cold anger towards this so called family and reveal a bright face with her warm smile.
"I was indeed a little giddy and painful last night, but I was relieved with Dr.MR's (Miracle Reborn as Maricle R.) prescription. My condition is better, thanks for grandma's concern."
"Dr.MR, he gave you a prescription?"
"Some few not worth taking grandma's attention for granted."
"Hum...I see.", The old lady didn't ask further, but Louisa wasn't bothered, aware that she had reached her prime gaol for the end of the show that was about to roll down, she gave a sigh of relieve. But not totally complacent, she knew that the tough game was still ahead.
"Grandma surely have me come here just for just few words, may I know grand ma's thoughts and worries."
Louisa hurried to push the words out of the old lady's mouth. Not that she was in na haste to start trouble for herself, but she just needed everything done as soon as possible for her to retire to her real unfinished business.
"You've grown smarter in a few day, then I won't beat around the bush."
Though her words still carried a hint of indifference and coldness compared to the warm affection granted from a grand mother to her grand daughter. Louisa could still perceive the little praise that lightly poked its nose. Though little, it was just what Louisa had been expecting.
"Can you explain this to me?", The hint of warmness was suddenly swept away by the annoyed old lady who had pointed at a middle aged woman who's face had been beaten to red and blue.
But instead of being frightened by the person that made her grand, mother furious at her, a smile curved Louis's cherry lips.
'How could she not explain the explanation ?'
"Grandma, I can admit to certain faults, but not the current one."
