Chapter 60

1518 Words

Theo’s POV When I woke up the next morning, the world felt completely different. I couldn't stop thinking about last night. Violet had willingly stepped into my arms and she told me she didn't hate me anymore. The house smelled amazing. I could smell pancakes, bacon, and hot coffee. I walked into the bright kitchen and stopped in the doorway, just watching my beautiful family. Violet was standing by the stove, flipping a pancake with a small smile on her face. Leo and Lilian were sitting on the kitchen island. They were drinking orange juice and laughing about a funny cartoon drawing in Leo's coloring book. "Good morning," I said softly, stepping into the room. All three of them looked up. Violet's brown eyes immediately softened when she saw me. She gave me a warm, genuine smile. "
