Daniel eagerly scanned the market for the mountain people. It was easy to spot them because they were the only ones who brought their goods on horseback. He had absolutely no doubt that George would come, he was sure that the need was mutual. As they unpacked their goods and arranged the fish on the table, he kept his eyes on the road to the east, the direction they always came from. As soon as he saw the horses moving in the distance, he dropped everything and ran to meet them. He offered the woman a hasty greeting before rushing to George, embracing him tightly as soon as his feet hit the ground.
